It's definitely exceeded my expectations for what an unreleased Spice demo from them would be like. Was Strong Enough from the Spice era? I wasn't too keen on that. This is better for sure! A laidback R&B groove that sounds absolutely 90s. I haven't really let the lyrics sink in yet but obviously the chorus is pretty filthy lol. I did start to feel around the 4 minute mark that the song was going on a bit too long, but then was rewarded with a lush sounding outro!

Ultimately I can see why it didn't have a place on Spice the album, but I think it would have made for a great B Side!

It is quite surreal to hear a "new" song from them, particularly one which is literally from 25 years ago. I'm so glad that they finally decided to share it. Now I hope they give us more and more from the vaults in the near future!

I had already heard Wannabe Demo (as I'm sure many of us have, because it leaked in full in 2014). It's rough around the edges but very charming nevertheless. Plus it's great that this version - that is probably more widely known as being the version from Spiceworld The Movie - is finally on streaming.

Feed Your Love is #23 on New Music Friday UK! I'm not displeased with that, after all it's an old demo within a mix of brand new songs. I'm just happy it's even included. Should ensure some decent streams.

The wannabe demo is pure fire I've always loved it, it's just so raw. Have no complaints with Feed your love, it's a chilled out slice of 90s R&B.

Really pleased it's on NMF playlist too.

Thumbs up from me so far.

Wannabe Demo:

Feed Your Love:

^ Available now if anyone wants to hear on YouTube!

Here's a new Fan Video:

Some people on Spice Circle are saying Wannabe is #1 on Apple music. Is that true?!

Would be amazing to see how much it does over the week. HOW EXCITING!!

Unfortunately not! Unless they mean a playlist, which I can't access because I don't have Apple Music.

Apple Music charts: Wannabe is #437 and there's no albums charting.

iTunes charts: Wannabe EP is #31 in the album chart. No sign of anything from Wannabe 25 in the songs chart yet.

I've downloaded Feed your love on its own from Amazon. I'll save Wannabe for when the physical is released.
I think they could've made Geris talky vocals a bit more amplified in places but other than that I think Feed Your Love is a nice treat. Its good to finally hear the entire song.
So who's gonna be the first one to open a Feed Your Love Discussion thread?! :P
This is when Mel B was supposed to be the lead singer. I love her voice here. I’m so into FYL. Nice nice track. ❤️💦
FYL is sounding so good, love to hear Mel B on lead vocals! It really suits the whole Spice era and will it does seem to get a bit repetitive towards the end, it's still a stunning song. I just still can't believe we actually got a "new" song in 2021!

Thanks God it wasn’t We’re Gonna Make It Happen 😂

Loving FYL on first listen.

Its just a demo, imagine if it was an actual finished track!!

I always assumed Strong Enough was either the Touch era or very close to it - it sounds very unfinished and is, in all honestly, quite crap. But it sounds more in line from what we've heard from the Touch era overall - somewhat cheaply made demos to get record labels interested and investing in them. Feed Your Love sounds more like a finished product in that aspect - I can see why it was left off Spice but it's more in line with that album productionwise. Very mid-90s R&B - could also see it fitting in well on Madonna's Bedtime Stories.

Articles from NME and Pitchfork already this morning about Feed your love with Spotify feed your love streaming embedded on them.

All seems very positive right now in terms of getting exposure, obviously the girls social media hasn't kicked into action yet either.

Feed Your Love is fantastic. What a treat for the fans.

I can see that it would've been too risque for their audience at the time.

Mel B sounds divine. Feel Me Now vibes

Has it just made anyone else just desperate to hear all the other unreleased tracks?

Also it is the perfect 1st unreleased track as it's actually pretty cool and a chill song. I'm sure they've got more fun or upbeat songs in the vault but it not being cheesey but undeniably 90s will probably help it with the non and casual fans.

To be fair, is it really more risque than them telling a man to "get it on, get it on"? It's not like their young audience would catch on to what they actually were singing about.

It's overall a nice track, but it's not exactly a "OMG-can't-believe-they-left-this-off". It would've been great as a b-side or if Spice was more than 10 tracks. But I wouldn't have replaced an album track in favour of it.

I feel the same. I actually quite like the sound of Strong Enough and We're Gonna Make It Happen - cheesy production aside.

To me Feed Your Love sounds less dated because it's more stripped back. I'd love it if they delivered more demos in this style.
