I far prefer Three Lions ‘98 to the original, the crowd chants, pundits’ commentary and general production make it far more vibrant and bouncy to my ears. At least it’s not been completely forgotten and around 1 in 6 people still listen to that one over the original!
No, they're combined. Interestingly Three Lions '98 is the only version licensed to compilation albums, I'm not sure why that is as the original is more popular.
Black Magic up to #12 on Apple Music. Looking good for a last minute push in the top 40 this week especially if it can get into the top 50 on Spotify tomorrow

I assumed that Jonasu - Black Magic had suddenly become a hit in mainland Europe and that was the reason for it suddenly rising a lot in the UK streaming charts.

 

I am hoping in terms of dance songs that Rain Radio - Talk About and Mentis - Excuses will take off soon on the Spotify chart. The Rain Radio track actually reminds me of 90s eurodance because of its high pitched vocal and synths in the drop. The Mentis track is a bit like a modern version of 2005's Big Ang ft Siobhan - It's Over Now.

 

I am expecting the Mentis track to get a Love Island play, not that I watch Love Island of course.

I don't think Black Magic is charting anywhere else, not from what I (briefly) checked out anyway.

 

But in general the latest crop of dance songs in the Apple Music chart do absolutely nothing for me, they're all painfully generic.
