This whole thing is dreadful but I'm so glad at the outpouring of support - she has a good amount of potential and I hope it can be realised. It's very ballsy what she's done!
The stans need to know that her song needs to be on Hot Hits U.K.
She’s taking a break from social media and will no longer be doing call on me promo

I think that’s probably what’s best for her. I’m sure if she wants to be signed again there will be labels wanting her after everything that’s happened in Twitter!

what I really wish is she can get hold of all her demos, masters, unreleased stuff

but not sure who they belong to, Raye or Polydor?

I think this was inevitable

Artist moans about label on-line and gets huge amount of public support

Label says they will work with her to rectify (bit of control damage)

Despite public support, Artists latest single doesn't make the Top 40

Label and Artist "part ways smoothly"

She has released some good tunes, so I hope she gets a career somehow out of all of this.

Depends on the contract she signed and the terms of their Split. She was talking about giving away songs to other artists so she might retain a degree of control over the stuff she’s recorded.

i wouldn't be surprised if polydor sued her tbh... i know shes frustrated but surely its a breach of contract to complain about your label online..

Why would that be breach of contract? It's not like she leaked her own songs (like a lot of other people have done, Charli XCX for example), she just complained about a situation. I could also complain about my employee online and I am sure would get a talk about that, but suing would be totally insane.

It actually states in my work contract that I am not allowed to post anything that could either negatively effect or show the company in a bad light, so maybe you've also been breaching your contract without knowing.
