They match Bananarama for having top 20 hits in 3 different decades, and make their own record of being only girlband to feature on a top 40 in 4 different decades. Just think if Southgate is still captain in the next decade this could see them achieving it in 5 decades :lol: :o

I bet they don't really appreciate just how dramatically the chart has changed since their heyday, to the point that them being #14 this week is actually phenomenal. They might just see it in simpler terms, that it not being Top 10 means it's not worth shouting about.

July 17, 20214 yr Top 15 this day and age for them is phenomenal. As they are mentioned in the thread I always feel it's a huge shame Bananarama never had a UK number 1 especially when so so many female groups have at least 1.A few of Bananaramas singles do feel like they were number 1s though.
