Has anyone listened to the album. it's nowhere near as good as his second album... plods along... only 3 or 4 good songs.

I just finished listening to it and I like his other two albums more. I agree with this.

I like the opening two tracks, and As It Was, and love the last two songs. Other than that I agree it’s either a bit plodding or needs some time to grow. Certainly not as instant as Fine Line anyway.
I had similar feelings but want to give it a few listens before I make up my mind. Definitely not as instant as 'Fine Line' which had very strong pop melodies.
staying with my opinion... although 'daylight' has a melody that hit me whilst i was listening... so maybe it's an album that'll stick (although the month i've had the album, i've only gone back to 'daydreaming')

'Daylight' and 'Daydreaming' were my only two standouts on first listen. Definitely sounds like a step down from the previous two albums, at least initially.
This is really giving me lift music. It's not even that good lyrically or exciting production wise, what happened?!
I'm really enjoying this actually! It feels like the sort of album that works best as a full body of work, it's a very cohesive experience even if there's not necessarily many songs that stand alone well. My faves so far are Sushi Restaurant, Late Night Talking, Daylight and Daydreaming.

I really loved this on first listen! Its definitely his best album as a full listening 'experience', and may well over take 'Fine Line' as my favourite from him overall once I've had it for more time.

My highlights at the moment are 'Music For a Sushi Restaurant', 'Late Night Talking', 'Daydreaming', 'Keep Driving' and 'Satellite' - so quite a lot of the album  'Matilda' was also gorgeous with some infectious guitar sounds.

I've given the album one full listen so far and revisited a bunch of the tracks again, not had time for any more listening so far today but I really like it - it's solid and definitely his most consistent, cohesive album to date. It's lacking big singles but that's not a problem (and I expect it was a conscious decision from Harry). Late Night Talking sounds big, and I love Little Freak, Love of My Life and Satellite among others.
I'm really liking this actually, I suspect it'll be similar to As It Was for a lot of people where it takes time to grow on them. Late Night Talking sounds like a summer smash to me though!
Yeah this is really boring in the middle, most are only about 3 minutes and yet still drag. The last 3 are nice though.

It's all very nice but he really is a terrible lyricist — three albums in and the writing remains so broad and banal. He might as well just sing from a shopping list at this point.
