July 28, 20213 yr I've listened to this a few times now and still don't really know what to think. It's certainly not as good as RFC or SOS, at the same time, this sound like the most remix-y kind of song out of all the three. So it does it's job in that sense, just not a version I would want to go back to a lot of times.
July 29, 20213 yr I like it, obviously not a patch on the original, but it does remind me of the remixes of the early 00s, the effects on the chorus kind of reminds me of the effects that were done in the electroclash scene at the time.

Considering the reception of this remix, they might be aiming to gear it up a bit for the Majestic remix of Overload (which is most likely the next release).

They'll need to win people over again in the build up to the album release.  Since its streaming has been so poor, I didn't bother to track its daily progress... As of today, it's on 11,600 Spotify streams, and the YouTube visualiser has 5,102 views.
August 3, 20213 yr Just listened... I actually don't mind the chorus section, it sort of works with the aesthetic they've gone for but the verses are awful - it makes them sound like they can't hold a tune :////
August 3, 20213 yr Yeah for me this remix was a 'play it once, and never again' experience :kink: (Well, I suppose when the album is re-released I'll give the bonuses a complete play... so that'll be one more play, ha). The remix didn't work imo, even though I do hear what they were going for.
