I prefer 'Setting Sun' as well (it was inspired by The Beatles 'Tomorrow Never Knows' so catnip for me lol) but can't go wrong with them in general really

So here’s Buzzjack’s favourite chart topper of 1994 as the year becomes the first to leave the rate

Definitely team Setting Sun, but Block Rockin' Beats is glorious too, I will genuinely go beserk in any setting when hearing it, it's impossible not to x

I Will Always Love You was my birthday number 1, I've got a soft spot for it even if I am aware it's difficult to defend musically, but if you're gonna do a cheesy power ballad, you may as well go all out x

Not many Christmas Number Ones left then - just 2 I believe (or 1 1/2 really).

As for the ones just revealed, I Will Always Love You is the worst ever 10+ week Number 1 in my opinion. It’s so overblown and has no flow to it.

Stay Another Day on the other hand is brilliant, but slightly suffers from the overplay affecting many Christmas associated songs.

Glad I have never experienced overplaying of Stay Another Day.

I still love it.

Stay Another Day is a great song

until very recently I never even considered it a Xmas song

Getting some revenge here after Freddie knocked them off No 1. This is buzzjack’s second favourite Take That No 1 of the 90s.

Tomorrow the top 50 will be revealed and we'll have a recap of how you're all doing!

So close to not losing another one outside the top 50!

Pray is fantastic though.

oh wow Chesney finished quite high! bit of a guilty pleasure but great pop song anyway

I recently learnt The Only and One also did very well in the US, peaking at #10

Stay Another Day is great, one of my favourite among the regular Christmas lot. Although of course originally it was nothing whatsoever to do with Christmas if you read about the real subject matter.

Living On My Own is something that never actually properly stuck with me until a few years ago when I heard it and suddenly recognised it for the Freddie masterpiece that it is.

Pray is mid-tier Take That for me, not their best or worst.

The One and Only is a great pop song and the video is very fun to watch. :D

I was expecting Pray to be the highest Take That number 1 single here. :o

I think I'm doing very bad, there isn't so much for me still to come, but I'm not surprised. :(
