August 13, 20213 yr I really thought she was going to step it up this era — a similar trajectory to Lil Nas X even — but this takes all the most basic qualities of her last era(s) and doubles down on them. Cardi is the highlight of an incredibly weak comeback.

August 13, 20213 yr The video is absolutely fantastic, one of the best of the year and certainly her best yet! The song is fun, I was maybe hoping for something more, but it's definitely decent. And having said that, as much as I like Lizzo, I don't think any of her songs (maybe except Juice and Tempo) have really impressed me. I do like her music, but it's not stand-outish are fantastic, it's more Lizzo being so cool herself and being a great performer.
August 13, 20213 yr I absolutely LOVE this! The chemistry between Lizzo and Cardi is SO good. Initially thought it was leading up to a bigger chorus and instead it was the instrumental section, so I'd have liked a bigger chorus but honestly, I can't get enough of this right now.
August 22, 20213 yr how anyone can dislike 'wild side' is beyond baffling... it's pure R&B slice. I didn't say I disliked it, I just thought Cardi was unnecessary on it. I love the song!
