I've suddenly realised it's been a while since a British female solo artist topped the singles charts!
I think releasing the same week as Ed will mean he gets all the hype and attention that week, I think it's reasonable that they want to push for it to be the main/biggest release whatever week it comes.
Guyssss my comment was a joke because obviously Jesy and her Team wouldn’t expect to debut at #1 as the Sun suggests..
I don’t think she is - I’m sure it would’ve been announced either today or yesterday. The Sun is usually right when it comes to the girls so it’s probably in a few weeks.

I'm guessing she's going to release on the 17th? I don't think I see her releasing on the 10th.
Somehow I can't see Nicki being that excited about featuring on a UK debut single where she doesn't even have a filmed scene with the artist. She's probably talking about something solo or whatever - I don't really follow her career but surely she wouldn't be that hyped for Jesy Nelson's single??

Yeah it's just rumoured, i'm not saying it is definitely her talking about Jesy. However she does mention it was supposed to be out by now.

Oh yeah don't get me wrong, if it is indeed about Jesy's song then that is extremely exciting as I haven't heard Nicki big up one of her features that much before. :lol:

 

As I said I don't follow Nicki's career so if she doesn't have other features coming up then it probably is Jesy's!

I think it could possibly be that she's just in LA to record part of the video with Nicki perhaps?

 

Would love her to pre-record some US interviews/performances! I may be being delusional :P but it looks like both her US label and UK label are actually making effort!

 

So so excited for the song and video, pretty sure she'll serve some amazing performances.

As pointed out in the Little Mix Off Topic thread, Nicki has pulled out of the VMA's... wonder if the rumoured Jesy performance is still going to go ahead (obvz minus Nicki)?

Absolutely amazing if her team got her that gig in the first place.

 

Edit: maybe she was never performing and Nicki was supposed to perform with that Bia who she recently collab'd with?

 

I think Jesy might just be there to shoot parts of the video and pre-record some US promo maybe?
