Promotion tends to help, so that is hardly a shocker!

 

Excited for the performance, the rehearsals on instagram look so good!

Promotion doesn't help THAT much these days tbh. I'd say the controversy she's had has been better promo than most tv show performances.
When is she on Norton? Feels like this song is dead already and it's only been out for 3 weeks.

It was looking really promising but it definitely feels like after the initial buzz and drama it’s just dead now.

 

Single 2 really will be a flop especially without a big name attached.

single 2 will probably be a midtempo ballad about her struggles - her team are definitely going to work overtime to get the GP back on her side

It's not really when it's dropping like a stone and only went top 5 because of "hype", I'm sure a lot of people were just checking the song out but it shows that it doesn't have staying power at all.

People can say what they want, she scored a Top 5 hit and haters can stay pressed because that IS an achievement :wub:

 

Don't like her, don't visit the thread. There's many artists I do not like but I do not go to threads where their fans on to make snide comments.

It’s ok for us all to have different opinions on Jesy / Boyz but we don’t need to get defensive over every post.

 

The song did well getting a top 5 debut but I don’t think it’s unfair for people to say they expected more following the hype, the feature, the teasing etc.

My point is there is not a single thread relating to Jesy where people allow the actual fans to actually enjoy the single. There is always snide remarks and it is not constructive, it is just to be mean.

 

Many people have gone above and beyond to defend Leigh and anyone who doesn't like Jesy, so also with respect I will defend Jesy when people just come here to make little snide comments (a lot of which I have ignored). People are overly defensive when it comes to Leigh but its a problem when someone defends Jesy... so i'd rather people actually maintain the same position no matter who the issue is about.

 

It's totally fine to have different opinions but some people literally do nothing but try tear her down for fun.
