I think her suicide attempt was much earlier on in her career, and I'm sure she's definitely grown a thicker skin. She (and the rest of the girls) still gets torn apart on dailymail and the likes on a daily basis.

But yeah I've just returned to the upload of the performance on YouTube, and she really is getting attacked. Even reactors like Honest Vocal Coach and Zack Campbell are mocking her dance moves. I personally didn't see anything wrong with her dance moves- or maybe more correctly- her dance wasn't different from the Jesy dance we've known for years. I suppose when you go solo, you haven't got the others to share the attention/criticisms with.

As for taking the p out of the dance moves she just needs to lean into it. Bring out merch or laugh at yourself in the next video. Everyone dragged Dua for the green skirt dance and she bounced back.

I think people genuinely found the Dua dance funny whereas this is more a case of using it to mock Jesy, than any real humour?

 

She needs to disappear for a bit for sure.

She needs to be receptive to the very valid criticisms. Until then, she can keep digging that hole.

I actually thought her dancing was fine and enjoyed the performance aspect of it (and I liked her ad-libs at the end) but the miming is just annoying and I did cringe with the gunshot sounds at the start. Not in 2021, Jezy.

The Honest Vocal Coach is insufferable, sorry. She might genuinely be a vocal coach but anytime I've heard her try to mimic a note or riff from a video she's watching she always fails and excuses it with 'oh I can't do it this morning, oh I just woke up, oh I haven't warmed up' plus sometimes she's just downright rude and personal with her commentary.

Hard agree and she's a massive TERF also. She's not funny, intelligent or anything really. A haggard old woman giving out opinions no one asked for with no real qualifications.

Jesys performance was a mess and quite frankly an embarrassment and the honest vocal coach was perfectly within her rights to share her opinion considering many of her followers asked her for it.

I'm sorry that we keep diverting this conversation, but I just heard her do a cover of Adele's Easy On Me on YouTube. Y'all go and watch/listen for yourselves 🤭

Over 1 million views on youtube, not saying it got views for the best reason but in my opinion it was a very good performance and a lot better than the Graham Norton one! Roll on single number 2 which is hopefully a ballad.
