Little Mix use a merch store that’s why...

 

I have a feeling they charge the earth to handle the orders hence why they go for the bundles and more expensive items.

 

They should really switch up and use someone else I bet then we’d get signed standard cd’s etc rather than all these merch style expensive bundles.

That megamix is such a letdown. They have about 23 singles and they put 6 songs in? I think it started off well with Confetti but that was pretty much it.

They have 32!

The only listenable transition being Black Magic > Touch :')

Christ this Megamix is hardly even a mix at all 😭 an insult to The Saturdays one honestly.

 

Didn't Jade say they were holding off on releasing it coz it wasn't great? Guess she was overruled to generate a bit of hype.

My overall thoughts on that megamix

 

- Why does it say Ft Saweetie?

- Where is the mixing? The mixing from each song to each song is just a fade. It's terribly done. The main fun of megamixes is the inventive way in which each song segues into another.

- Why are they using 60/70 second clips of songs? Megamixes should be a quick fire 25 seconds of different choruses.

- 6 songs is a joke!? Where is Move, Love Sweet Love, No More Sad Songs, Think About Us, RL, No, Salute, Wasabi, DNA?

 

The ft. Saweetie is probably something contractual from the single remix, I can't think of any other explanation

The megamix is so weak... they could have done better.

I think they must have been trying to do something more complicated but wanted to get it out this week so just released this. Because I’m quite sure Jade said at one point that they’ve been taking their time to get it right, but what they’ve released could have been made in about 10 minutes. :lol:

They definitely edited from the Confetti music video (as it starts the mix) and forgot to change the name of it. :lol:

Is it baffling to anyone else that the girls consistently get low budgets or rush jobs on everything. There’s always poor planning and I feel the label could really make more of an effort.

 

Totally understand they aren’t a worldwide act but look at the tour tickets sold and last year they had one of the biggest openings in the first week album sales and singles that were consistent sellers.

 

 

I mean take this week, obviously this release is intended to sell itself as Leigh and Perrie are on leave / doing less work commitments but where is a drop of exciting new items or even art cards with a CD. Once again they haven’t listened...Even if it’s not for a #1 album it gains more sales and interests fans...

 

Fans constantly create content with images already out there, we could of easily had a CD drop of the Attitude mag image for instance (Signed).

Yeah their label really isn’t great. They should have learnt that most of the sales come from the hardcore fans buying all the formats. What’s most annoying with the megamix is that they’ve literally had months to create it and that’s all they come up with. There’s no excuses for it being that bad.

Greatest hits album will always struggle so to be honest they’ve done better than I expected.

 

Ed’s going to jump ahead by the end of the week if we don’t get anything extra.

 

It’s still crazy to me how little these acts are selling Per day when you consider there’s 69 million + people in the UK.

I mean, the whole purpose of this is to cash in on the long-term streaming sales. It'll surely end up going Platinum at least either way.

 

ETA: just saw that megamix. Really bad - both from the mix itself but also from the clips used - even when they used clips from the actual videos they didn't seem to even bother having it match their lips. Why??

Has anyone had any luck with the boxset issue?

 

I’ve had an email to say these were never signed and the website listed it as printed, which isn’t true.

 

Does anyone have the confirmation emails where numerous staff Confirmed it was signed until that batch sold out and it went to ‘this version is not signed’

 

Anyway the outcome they advised ‘As a goodwill gesture we can offer you a signed insert’

 

Which is just so insulting haha!

 

 

Would Ed really overtake? 7k sales behind (I know he's MASSIVE) but he seems to have stalled a bit in week 2 and now week 3 looks to be a bit lower..

I'm not surprised by abba but it would be great if they can hold top 3 and come close to the sales they opened with confetti.

Really disappointed in the Megamix, they could have fit so many more songs in.

 

I found it kind of awkward whenever it was Jesy's parts they showed the other girls but kept Jesy in the group shots. I get she's not in the group but it was just weird, I just assumed they wouldn't play her parts. It is such a shame all four couldn't celebrate the 10 year anniversary together and Jesy couldn't hold out, but I get it with lots going on behind the scenes and holding on for a further 1.5 years is a long time.

 

I much prefer the fan Megamix, Confetti just went on for way too long and why is Saweetie in the title?!
