Sorry no idea what happened

When a performance is so emotional, it kind of bothers me the criticism of the vocals

I loved the performance. The first half wasn’t the greatest but it wasn’t bad. The Second half sold it for me. I could tell all the girls seemed really emotional (Jade more so).

It’s a shame there’s nothing to perform on these days. GN doesn’t boost songs that much because of the time it’s on especially in the run up to Christmas as people are out Christmas parties etc...

The X-Factor was such a huge platform for them when it was still getting decent figures, they’d come back and perform and the performances always gave them such a boost.

I feel like the live performances and promo are so important as people forget they can really sing!

The performance wasn’t great to me, the verses were flat and not pleasant to listen to but the latter half was alot better. Jade made me a bit emotional whenever I looked at her to be honest because as someone else said she just embodies Little Mix jn everything she does.

I do think the break is a good thing, the group are beyond talented but they’ve never really made a fantastic record in my

opinion and so maybe going off doing other stuff will give them stuff to write about when/if they come back!

with any purchase :frankie:

It would be nice to see this climb back into the top 5 tbh

Sweet Melody isn’t considered fantastic!?

I think they meant album (which isn’t true anyway but)

I honestly wish you would just not reply/refer to my posts if you need to do so dismissively, it’s something I’ve ignored for a while but there is genuinely no need for the way you act.

Anyway, Joel, I love Sweet Melody and parts of Confetti etc but I don’t think it’s an unfair point to make that the girls talent succeed the body of works they have made so far, and I’m sure others have made the point in the past.

Get off of your high horse, everyone is allowed an opinion yes so you can think they’ve never made a solid body of work but other people can disagree with you.

I’m really not on a high horse at all, thanks. I’m happy for people to disagree with me, as is often the case on here but you can do that without being dismissive, as most people do.

I've only heard LM5 and Confetti but I definitely agree that their album tracks are pretty weak for an act as talented as them. There's no reason why they couldn't produce an all killer no filler album full of bops like 7/27 (yes, I went there) instead of having 4 or 5 amazing songs and the rest being filler garbage.

WHAT?!

I started stanning them around Get Weird and I heard so many people say that album and Glory Days were awful so I didn't bother. I did listen to Beep Beep, F.U and Down and Dirty and I know of Oops from the X Factor performance and was like 'no way am I listening to that album'. They were seriously horrible songs. As for Get Weird I know of Lightning which is a bop but again, I think I played a couple other tracks out of curiosity and they were shit so didn't bother with the rest.

As for DNA I know of Always Be Together which is actually a cute song and Madhouse which I enjoyed but the others just sounded so childish and Disney like that I couldn't get through the rest, and the only album track from Salute I know is Good Enough and that's the tour version.

LM5 and Confetti I listened to upon release and within a few weeks I'd already chopped half the album tracks off my playlists.

Salute is probably their only album I'd rate as a "body of work" if I'm honest.

I think they've had good albums with a smattering of killer tracks, but I find for girl groups in general it's really rare for one to achieve a 100% perfect album without something dragging it down. Like Glory Days for instance, you can totally tell they rushed that album and so many of the songs sounded like they'd been thrown together in a matter of minutes.

Their albums are indeed ropey - especially confetti. But LM5 and Salute are great overall. Glory Days has 3 or 4 stinkers but is mostly good.
