For me, this year's charting songs, from my best to my worst:

Sweet Melody> Confetti> Love (Sweet Love)> Kiss My> Heartbreak Anthem > No Time For Tears.

I hope No inserts itself between SM and Confetti at the minimum!

That’s tea actually

Heartbreak Anthem > Sweet Melody > No Time for Tears > Love (Sweet Love) > Confetti > Kiss My

Exactly this!

Stop hating on Kiss My it’s such a catchy trashy bop.

I know it's divisive, but I really like Love (Sweet Love)! I'm a sucker for vocals & it's a cute throwback to the "Classic" Little Mix sound. I think the underperformance is due to both some overexposure (with Kiss My peaking & HBA still hanging around) & it just not clicking with the public. Glad it at least peaked top 40.

I just don't get their new need to have singles released every 6 to 8 weeks. Sometimes less. If it came out this week it may have done better but Anne Marie is still actively promoting the last single.

Well it's her single and they have an album coming out on November. Their plan was to have two singles released prior to the album so LSL was released at the right time for their own schedule, the issue was that it clashed with other campaigns, but then again this is not the reason this is doing badly, we've been over this.

Given all of my other recent hot takes about Little Mix I shouldn't have been surprised but I actually quite like this song, would probably take it over anything off their last album bar the title track lmao. Then again I also liked 'Bounce Back' so I'm honestly starting to think everyone else is just listening to a different discography. xx

I'm not really getting why this hasn't connected more with people honestly, I wouldn't have said it particularly sounds any less like a hit than any of their other recent singles. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Buzz singles never take off really. So this was to be expected...

Just a little joke to explain away the underperformance :kink:

Where has the idea that this is simply a buzz single come from?

heartbreak anthem was the lead xx

heartbreak anthem was the lead xx

LOL! Well, technically, yes. I mean, it was the first single after confetti (the last single from the last album); so yes it's the lead, and peaked at #3!
