Digga D is back with Wasted that looks set to give him his 2nd top 10 hit. This one samples Heartbroken by T2 & Jodie Aysha which was one of my favourites from childhood.

Digga has released some tunes I really enjoy in the past but everything I've heard from ArrDee so far has been mightily unimpressive so I'm a little worried to hear what they've done to a song that I adore.

I like this song but I wish they didn't pitch up the T2 vocal in the garage bit.

Surprised at this collaboration, thought Digga D would be too serious to appear on a track with ArrDee who is more of a fun rapper in terms of lyrical subject matter.

Lol at the idea of Digga D being 'serious'. Half of his hits sound like literal pisstakes.
Just found out that ArrDee is only 18?! I don't know why but I had him down as being early-mid 20s, possibly because of his deep voice haha

This is actually such a banger. I've had it stuck in my head all day. I just wish it was literally anyone other than ArrDee featured though.
The problem here is that Digga D really overdoes the "woi" thing. Completely unnecessary and ruins the song for me.

And this song joins that.

I don't mind ArrDee's part but Digga D singing over the T2 sample with the most basic juvenile drill lyrics imaginable really leaves a bad taste in the mouth (not to mention the awful quality of the rest of his lyrics as per). Digga can make good songs but most of his biggest hits just feel like audio shitposts.

Incidentally this is the second time 'Heartbroken' has been sampled in a UK rap hit this year, it was also sampled on the much better 'Grown Flex' by Bugzy Malone feat. Chip which got to #63 in February.

On Friday, Digga D released a new single called '2k17' that is expected to be the 2nd from an upcoming album. This one continues the sampling trend from Wasted by interpolating YoungBoy Never Broke Again's Make No Sense.

Digga is going to get his 3rd hit from this project tomorrow with his timely, Squid Game inspired “Red Light Green Light” looking for the top 20 tomorrow.

It's violent though lyrically and with the music video :( That and the fact that I haven't watched Squid Game so don't 'get' the references puts me off it lyrically but the production is good.

least surprising news ever but big yikes that he was dumb enough to stab someone in Dubai who have the strictest laws ever, that’s bye bye to his career.

although googling it now it seems its only a rumour for now.

he'll probably turn it in his favour and rush-release a new single called Arrested in Dubai this Friday :D

It was me that chinged up Deebo"

You surely aren't telling me this guy might have stabbed someone xx

(it is unconfirmed though, we know that he was there and someone was arrested for a stabbing but not that it was him personally)

yeah seems to be the case and he's now using the publicity to his advantage by plugging his forthcoming single

Wouldn't surprise me if he made someone he knew start the rumours in the first place.

He's at that stage of his career now where every single he releases goes top 40, actually quite impressive.

'Pump 101' is the first release from Digga's upcoming mixtape and this one looks like it's going to the biggest release for Digga since 'Wasted'. The song samples 'Stunt 101' by 50 Cent's group G-Unit and is a throwback to these early '00 rap hits.

Hazey must have started a trend of Scouse rap in the chart because Still Brickin is another rapper from Liverpool.

I haven't heard this one yet but it seems to be getting the best reaction for any of his single for a while so I'm quite excited to hear it.
