Perhaps it is a sign that the drill production scene might be running out of ideas now one of their major artists is using an early 00s hip hop instrumental!

I like Still Brickin's accent though, thought he was from Birmingham when I first heard the track. Unfortunately I find both Still Brickin and Digga D's lyrics in this song awful.

Digga has announced that his 3rd mixtape is out this Friday and will be called 'Noughty By Nature'. This will be his final mixtape release before his 'debut' album is expected to drop next year.

The 4th single from the mixtape, Hold It Down looks like it will reach the top 40 this week. 'G Lock' & 'What You 'Reckon' peaked at #48 and #46 respectfully.

Wasted, 2k17 & Red Light Green Light have all been relegated to bonus tracks. He's no longer bound by any restrictions from the police in regards to his music which is why it's suddenly became less commercial and the first 3 singles have missed the cut.

His best mixtape yet. I think sonically he's got a bit more to tweak before he drops his first album, but I have no doubt he'll reach that. Remains to be seen chart wise how well it'll place but I think number 2 behind Swedish House Mafia and selling around 12-18k first week would be a great result. I believe Made In The Pyrex sold 13k first week although I can't remember for sure.

Overall rating: 8/10. His best tape, solid structure, story and artwork conception with the Noughty By Nature title. Best tracks were Pump 101, Hold It Down, What You Reckon, Main Road (probably my favourite with a cheeky Fredo diss in the hook), Why and Addicted.

'Made In The Pyrex' did just under 10k in its first week - I'm not sure that I'd expect Swedish House Mafia to sell that much though so I think he has a good shot at getting the #1 this time if he does similar or better numbers to MITP.

Thanks for confirming, I'm surprised SHM don't have any physicals out for their first album too.. anyway I'm not complaining. Would love to see Digga go number 1.

The track "Why" featuring AJ Tracey I believe has sampled Robert Miles's techno/EDM hit "Children". Never thought drill would meet techno/EDM but there we go lol.
