Under 2 hours to go for the majority of you.

Sorry if this. Alex the wait a little harder but I’m really enjoying it so far. Up to A Hundred Years Of Winter.

I’m on my phone so I’ll wait until I get to my laptop to do a proper post but early favourites for me are The Slightest Touch, Living A Lie and Victorious. Also quickly I much prefer the album version of Take Me For A Ride, the extra intro adds to it in my opinion.
The Last 30 Seconds of Victorious > A Million Years > The Rest of Victorious
The Slightest Touch, Victorious and Living A Lie sre the big stand outs on first listen and all far above take me for a ride.
First impression is that it's wall to wall bops! But that it might take some time to distinguish between the tracks. Wasted Tears is an early favourite and the Initial Talk remix is soooo good too.

2 full listens in and this would be my album rank so far:

1. Living A Lie

2. The Slightest Touch

3. Victorious

4. Wasted Tears

5. A Million Years

6. A Hundred Years Of Winter

7. Trouble & Love

8. Heartbreak In This City (with Michelle Visage)

9. Take Me For A Ride

10. Kiss Of Life

11. High

That top 3 is superb, I'm sure my order will change over multiple listens.

All round a quality album.

There's not a song I dislike on the album at all.

Living In A Lie and Trouble & Love are the two standouts that haven't been released as singles though. Both fantastic.

The album does sound great on first listen, just listening now on Spotify as my CDs have not been dispatched yet.

Early new highlights so far are Living In A Lie (that ABBA chorus!) and Wasted Tears (how 1999 does this sound - in a good way).

Only negative so far is that Victorious is infuriating as the production on it doesn't sound crisp or clear at all compared to the rest of the album so the song doesn't pop as it should. The vocals sound great, so it should have been brilliant, but it desperately needs to be remastered or reproduced.

Lina Hedlund remains the queen of Victorious <3

And A Million Years isn't as good as Mariette's version for me either. Maybe I'm just too familiar with it.

Wow what an amazing album, a thousand, no a MILLION times better than part 1. "Wasted Tears" HAS to be the next single (just saying) & here's my rating of each track on first listen:

01. Take Me For A Ride - 8/10
02. Heartbreak In This City (ft Michelle Visage) - 10/10
03. Wasted Tears - 10/10
04. A Hundred Years of Winter - 8/10
05. Living In A Lie - 10/10
06. A Million Years - 7/10
07. Trouble & Love - 10/10
08. Victorious - 9/10
09. Kiss Of Life - 8/10
10. High - 6/10
11. The Slightest Touch - 10/10

Early highlights: 'Wasted Tears', 'Living In A Lie', 'Trouble & Love' & 'Victorious'

8.5 Take Me For A Ride

11 Heartbreak In This City - Single Mix

07 Wasted Tears

08 A Hundred Years of Winter

10 Living In A Lie

8.5 A Million Years

7.5 Trouble & Love

7.5 Victorious

07 Kiss of Life

07 High

11 The Slightest Touch

The extended intro on Take Me For A Ride is fantastic, the song is great, but not one of my favorite singles from them. Heartbreak In This City remains one of their best tracks of all time. Part of both Wasted Tears and Trouble & Love sound like they'd fit perfect on an episode of Love Island. A Hundred Years of Winter is bound to be a single at some point, I was just waiting for that moment you get in a Steps song that stays with you, and I haven't gotten anything yet. Living In A Lie however is quite instant. And of course we have the two Melodifestivalen tracks, A Million Years and Victorious. I actually think their cover of A Million Years is a lot stronger compared to Victorious. Victorious needs to be cleaned up a bit (like the last 30 Seconds), it lacks the punch needed. The original reins supreme. Strong album tracks with High and Kiss of Life but with that being said I cannot un-hear 'kiss me in the e-e-e-eye'. Ending on The Slightest Touch this album is solid, potentially even better than Part 1!

Great and solid album! Classic Steps with a current and retro twist. Need to listen more to rate/compare it though 🤩

And why can’t I order the vinyl from their website. #sos

Initially i feel this is a better album than part 1, i also feel take me for a ride should not have been the single ahead of a few superior songs,.
