Posted August 26, 20213 yr This week, we find out which of Silky and Eureka return to the competition, and the returnee alongside the existing "OG top 4" must perform a Charisma Uniqueness Nerve and Talent monologue to make the finale.
August 26, 20213 yr Author Odd challenge, to me it felt too much like the Pink Table Talk with their own topic rather than a given one. Again it wasn't clear if it was meant to be more funny or personal, I kinda took it as both but then Eureka just went "f*** it, I'm talking about shitting myself" Eureka easily won that for me, because she made it funny and conversational, you were in on it. As the judges said, it felt like getting gossip from your friend. Whereas for example Kylie, it was a cute story but it didn't have that spark or anything funny. And whilst not everything has to be a comedy challenge, I feel like with somehting like this, if there isn't that comedic flair, it can be a really boring challenge that's a bit of a slog. You can open up and share something personal, but also be funny! Eureka chose this embarrassing moment that kind of sums up her whole vibe, she just doesn't care about looking silly, she owns those things. I thought the lipsync was pretty close too, I'd have probably gone for Jaida but Eureka turned it out too. I wonder if they'd have done a tie had they both had different lipsticks, seems fishy to me that every time it's a tie, it's when they just have the same lipstick. Has to be Eureka or Ra'Jah to win for me, Eureka has consistently done at least solidly well at everything except the AHS acting challenge. Ra'Jah has killed it nearly all season, there's not been a time I thought she was bad (she didn't deserve bottom for the acting), plus when you factor in the fact she made EVERY single thing she wore on the runway, and there was not a single bad look amongst them... Eureka to me is slightly more of an all rounder and I just adore her personality, she's honed in on what I already liked about her and eliminated the parts people gave her hate for. However, I do love Ra'Jah's glow-up, she's shown that she can be funny, and that she actually is this warm, kind, person who has grown so much from her S11 persona. Ginger and Kylie are fine, but the former has been quite favoured this season I feel and is not as much of an all rounder, Kylie is stunning and a great performer with a great personality that we didn't really see in S2, it's been great to see her glow-up and how comfortable she is now, but there's something missing in terms of her being a winner. Ginger is my least preferred winner but I can just see her winning it D:
August 26, 20213 yr I thought Ginger and Trinity absolutely did the best in this challenge, but obviously Eureka had to win or they would have all knocked her straight back out again. Ginger's was of course very calculated, but that got Alaska the win in AS2. On that note, I wonder actually if Ginger is deliberately applying the same approach that Alaska did in that season - they were on it together afterall and Ginger got to see firsthand what worked and what didn't. I'm about 80% sure that Ginger will win the whole thing now and the other 20% possibly Ra'Jah will sneak it. I think Ra'Jah has the fans behind her and should kill the final episode if its a song and dance challenge. I'm pretty sure that Kylie won't win because she's been announcing tours for next year etc. that she probably wouldn't be able to do if she was the All Stars Winner.
August 26, 20213 yr Eureka was by far my favourite. I loved her story and runway. Trinity did really well too! Kylie's was really lovely as well. Ra'Jah sort of stumbled a little but picked it back up. I thought Ginger's was just too robotic/calculated, even though I guess it was good. I hate that everyone is in the bottom if they don't win. I don't think Trinity deserved to go home for this episode. :( I thought the lip sync was fun! Glad to see Jaida on the show again. I was hoping Eureka would leave a brown stain or something on the stage when she did the splits/rolling around though as a nod to her talk. I am so gutted Trinity left this episode though. She should've had like 1-2 more wins and less bottoms (I hate the everyone in the bottom if you don't win). She was most probably the best runway queen this season though, so I'm happy we got to see almost all her runways.
