Posted August 31, 20213 yr Another chart prediction thread, but I am quite curious on the thoughts for this one before Friday! JLS are returning with their first single in 8 years, 'Eternal Love'. But how will it far on the chart? I feel like it will go top 20, but top 10 certainly isn't out of the question after how well Switch's 'Time' performed when released on Spotify through JLS' page! Though of course it's post-first day performance will massively depend on how the single sounds; I do fear that it won't really live up to their big hits. But alas time will tell.
August 31, 20213 yr could've easily been top five but going up against a Drake album bomb I think they'll have to settle for top 10.
August 31, 20213 yr Is this a PJ and Duncan cover? Why on earth would they come back with a cover of an old PJ & Duncan song?! Are we talking about predicting the first week or final week? In any case I think people are vastly over-estimating the chances of this, we're not in 2012 any more! I think it might just go top 40?

First week Tbh I would have said the same, until that not-JLS song reached #4 on Spotify. Clearly there's a huge amount of interest for it!
August 31, 20213 yr Why on earth would they come back with a cover of an old PJ & Duncan song?! Was joking although I think it'd sound better than what JLS would come out with,
August 31, 20213 yr Based on the success of the not-JLS track i'd say a Top 20 debut, maybe Top 10 if they are lucky. I'd expect it to peak in the first week though as is usual boyband standard.
August 31, 20213 yr Author do we know if it's uptempo or a ballad? Nothing's known yet about the actual song, but I think I'll be very surprised if they go for a ballad as their lead since.
September 1, 20213 yr on itunes perhaps, impossible to tell how Abbas new song will do on streaming. Might do better than some of us would initially think
September 1, 20213 yr Hard to call this one, the way a fake JLS song initially performed on streams a few months ago leads me to think it could easily go top 10, although competition is quite fierce at this moment so my realistic guess is in the 11-13 area. I could see ABBA potentially doing some huge numbers actually. Anticipation and hype for that is pretty much fever pitch and they're an act who are adored cross-generationally. September 1, 20213 yr I doubt it will go T40. They haven’t had a single for some time and trends change quickly. I think they’ll struggle to return and streaming will go against them.
