Are we having this in the TV or Reality forum this year? I'm sure it keeps switching

It was even in the Lounge for a time

Petition to move it to News & Politics for this season. Could use a little perking up in there.

If one of the contestants is an MP, perhaps we could do that :D

No comments on the first episode yet? That bouquet of flowers cake was amazing :o

Also, who knew that malt loaf appears to be not at all like the ones in supermarkets.

Why would you put family photos at the zoo under mini rolls…

I enjoyed the episode. I thought he would be the first to go - he had first exit vibes.

But a good bunch and yes Jurgen at this stage is the stand out. He's underwhelmed reaction to Matt doing the Flintstones in German was hilarious

I don’t know if I agree on the first baker to go.

Across all three challenges I really didn’t think he was bottom bless him he seemed so sweet as well.

Quite a tricky first week mind but nice to see the show back and excited to see what happens and what new challenges we get.

I figured Tom would go first as his showstopper didn't even remotely fit the brief and the others seemed to get more sympathetic edits, though I'm quite gutted, he was like my spirit animal  Ah well, Jurgen, Maggie and Giuseppe can have my support for now.

I always hate when they eliminate someone first week - and he only messed up one challenge (from what I remember)

Love that we have a vegan baker again. I liked Maggie also, until the mint choc chip comment.....(blasphemy in my house!)

Tom was so very very sweet but the showstopper does tend to carry a bit more weight and he ballsed it up super spectacularly. I’m also glad it saved the icon that is Amanda.

Maggie should've gone last night. I know Rochica wasn't great either, but Maggie has been sh!te 2 weeks running and seems to have nothing left to give, other than doing the 'classics' badly.

I felt for Freya last night she had an off week but I still dont know how Amanda is still in it when every week now shes had a disaster in at least one challenge.
It’s basically a two horse race this year isn’t it ?

Maybes a three horse one Chiggs is my dark horse as he's peaking at a good time and for only baking a year has major talent but i think Giuseppe is the one to beat with Jurgen being the likely other finalist.

Potentially an all male final for sure?
