September 22, 20213 yr Here it is, having premiered as Hottest Record on Radio 1 earlier this evening gFKhxi8b9SQ

September 23, 20213 yr Author A decent return! Though their past work has never really done much for me, and I don't think this will massively change that.
September 23, 20213 yr Another album to check in 2022. The new song is nice and simple, though it could be their "catchiest" song in the album, most others are the usual unusual. I was somewhat expecting another mellow one like 'Hunger Of The Pine' or '3WW'.
November 5, 20213 yr Author 'Get Better' came out a couple of days ago, it's a shame they seem to be falling under the radar these days! OQcTc9u2Zu8
November 5, 20213 yr 'U&ME' was a pretty good song but definitely their weakest lead single to date unfortunately (in contrast to their last lead single being my favourite song they've ever made), kind of just sounded like any old random album track from them. Still good to have them back though and hope there will be better to come.
November 6, 20213 yr Awwww Get Better is quite lovely on first listen. It's got a few moments where I'm a little bit cringe (like rhyming nutella with cellar!!! or mentioning front line workers) but I guess it depends on whether it's a song about a real situation or not.
December 7, 20213 yr Well 'Get Better' is a stunning song (although a very heavy listen, I have a bad habit of not paying enough attention to lyrics when listening to songs for the first time but the lyrics being in the video for this made me take them in a bit more and I'm quite thankful for that as they really elevate it from just a lovely sounding lowkey acoustic song to something quite special). Why was this not the song they came back with? As much as I did quite like 'U&ME'. Apparently it isn't based on real events but some of those lyrics are so specific that it really sounds like it is. And then the ending with the tape recording being repeated and the chorus line shifting from 'I know you will' to 'I know I will'...
January 8, 20223 yr Author and here it is! I definitely think it's my favourite of the three, but I must say that I don't think any of them have massively 'grabbed' me yet. _7-r0KON9GI
January 10, 20223 yr Eh this one is pretty average tbh oops Someone on Reddit who has heard the album already has confidently stated that this is a bad single choice and one of the weakest songs on the album though so I shall keep the faith x
February 12, 20223 yr Really enjoying the album, however there doesn’t seem to be much fanfare about the release - hopefully it will return them to the Top 5 at least.
February 12, 20223 yr I was thinking easy #1 considering how much the last album did They could have really strong direct and indie sales I guess but Slash is above them on iTunes and Amazon, and I’m guessing their streaming won’t be all that strong - plus they have the added impact of Brits effect from the likes of Ed, Adele etc
