Being realistic with this poll, it's obviously not going to number 1

I reckon it will end up 31-40 region but I'm really hoping to be proven wrong and it re-peaks.

I'm thinking between 41-75. Obviously it would be fantastic to see it higher, but I'm not expecting much and also don't want to care too much. It's not a new album or campaign, just a lovely gesture for the hardcore fans.

Honestly, the hardest thing is to gauge how many people are buying this in the UK - I think it must be doing pretty ok for them churn out extra editions like the cassette (if it was doing that bad on pre-orders they just wouldn't waste money printing those things), but how many of those will count as UK chart sales?

Number 68 in the albums last week sold 1658, surely they can sell 2000.

That's very true, as I assume their sales will be coming from a lot of different places so it won't chart well anywhere. We saw the same with the Wannabe vinyl recently.

I find this incredibly difficult to predict. I really want it to make the Top 20, i.e. an improvement on the original peak, but maybe that's unrealistic. They would probably need to sell 3.5k to comfortably manage that.

So there's a 2xCD, 3xCD, two different vinyl, four different cassettes and a download. It really depends on how many UK stans they have at this point.

The current predictions might result in these sales:

#31 - #40 = 2,100 - 2,500

#36 - #40 = 2,100 - 2,300

#63 = 1,600

#41 - #75 = Almost 1,500 - Almost 2,100

Essential S Club 7 - which was literally just a CD format... no download, no streaming, no multiple formats... managed to reach #35 with 1,927 (sales in July were a little weaker than they currently are). I would at least like to think Sugababes could manage 2,000 considering the range of formats and digital availability.

And speaking of Essential, I'll also be curious to see how Essential Sugababes sells. Surely not better than One Touch

I would expect it not to outsell it, but I guess that depends on sales to the casuals I think. Which one the supermarkets stock more prominently. If Essential gets a good bit of supermarket shelf space then I can see it doing alright. They were a popular band for a long time, with some mega hits. At the right price point its a perfect impulse buy

I agree, and I'm kind of surprised they haven't had more of these cheap cash-in compilations to be honest. Since it's being released now it's obvious that Keisha and Mutya are unable to block it from happening.

I think the essential could do better than one touch, they have plenty of big hits and they are on the essential for the casuals its likely they wont know any of the one touch songs but will know a good few songs on the essential.
I literally have no clue. I've been really cautious and went with the lower region of the chart because, as has been pointed out, the girls have fans all over the world, rather than being concentrated in the UK alone. I'll just be delighted to see One Touch/Sugababes in the Top 100 again, tbh!

It's probably just going to be front loaded so wherever it is on the Monday it's probably going to be like 50 places lower come Friday.

Me when midweeks come out October 4th:

We can only dream of B-list on Capital  I imagine they'll be very Radio 2 if we ever get the new material.
