I'm sorry but to me, sitting there not saying anything is agreeing with it. Jesy must have known that all this drama was going to be brought up, so by agreeing to join the call she's contributing to the nasty messages towards Leigh-anne.

 

No, sitting there saying nothing is literally sitting there saying nothing.

 

Nicki is a spontaneous, unpredictable person (to put it lightly) so why would Jesy know she was going to go off about Leigh personally? She clearly had stuff she wanted to say about the matter.

You can acknowledge Jesy’s wrongdoing without taking it to the max though, surely? I don’t mean you particularly but just in general, people are calling her horrible, vile etc because she laughed at Nicki going off on one, at someone being called a clown - I’ve literally seen more rude posts on here..

No in the same breath I do agree with you, we can acknowledge and be disappointed in Jesy's behaviour without being nasty about her - it's not productive. Nicki however IS disgusting and doesn't even know what's going on, the back story, conversations had, anything! Just trying to get clout as usual lately, she's a grown woman and should know better, she could defend Jesy if that's what she wants to do without tearing another woman down.

I’m definitely now siding with the other 3 LM members now. I just can’t condone Jesys behaviour anymore and I think she’s really going to come to regret her actions. I get why she left the group I really do but the change in her is sad to see :( I’m sad at how it’s turned like this but Jesys actions now are making her out to be so different to the popular funny NTA award winning girl who went through hell. Her team as well really do need to do something. I fear Jesys surrounded by yes people at the minute who tell her what she wants to hear for her own good they need to stop her making herself look even worse before it really does spiral. But yeah that live should’ve just been a nice positive Q&A for the fans celebrating her debut single release no need to mention anything else and I doubt Nicki knows much of the situation at all for her to speak as if she knows the story she probably won’t even speak to Jesy once Boyz promo dies down.

She laughed because Nicki started putting on an accent, as she does, and people are completely twisting the narrative again.

 

I wouldn’t defend or interject to talk about a friend who encouraged someone to make a negative video about me just days ago? And in the same live, Jesy spoke about how the girls defended her during her weight and how Leigh-Anne messaged her during the Sweet Melody campaign. There was no dragging from Jesy’s end.

I think people are so quick to paint Jesy as a villain when she imo didn’t say anything wrong . When Nicki was going off she sat there pretty much silent with no expression majority of the time . She only started laughing when Nicki started putting on voices/accents and it came across as an awkward laugh more than anything . Yeah maybe she could have spoke up a bit and defend but cause of the situation and the alleged messages from Leigh Anne I can’t really say I blame her to not rushing to defend her .

 

And this is not me picking a side as I love them both it’s a shame this is happening in the first place really.

Exactly all of this. Why would she defend someone she's not friends with and asking viral social media influencers to make negative videos about her? You people bashing Jesy would not do this if it was the other way round.

I don't think anyone here is calling Jesy a villain or bashing her. We're just disappointed that she's working with someone who so freely hates on Leigh-Anne without even knowing her or the situation. Especially when she made a documentary about online bullying and mental health.

But she's only a thirty-year-old NTA award-winning mental health advocate! Anyway, she was laughing at Nicki's accent and not the content of what she was saying! What else could she have done?

 

The lengths people will go to defend indefensible behaviour because they stan someone. I had all the time for Jesy after her documentary and continuously defended her on here when she left the band citing her mental health — but that doesn't protect her from warranted criticism.

also i 100% agree that some comments about jesy have been vile, and that's in no way acceptable, but neither is sitting on a live while Nicki was literally verbally attacking Leigh for minutes. for me and many others, it's not about jesy it's about her behaviour. i'm just really, really disappointed.
