Adele's Easy On Me should safely remain at #1 on the singles chart. Swedish House Mafia team up with The Weeknd on Moth To A Flame, plus there's new tracks from Digga D, Craig David/MNEK and ABBA

Open race for the #1 album, with Coldplay challenged by new releases including Elton John's collaborations record The Lockdown Sessions, Lana Del Rey's eighth studio album Blue Banisters, Biffy Clyro's The Myth of the Happily Ever After and Duran Duran's Future Past. There's also albums from Mimi Webb, Don Broco, Dream Theater, Self Esteem, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Parquet Courts

Breakdown of the week

- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.

- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.

- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm

- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.

- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.

- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)

- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.

- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.

Don Broco's physicals aren't out until January, so I wouldn't expect a particularly high peak for them! (their last album got to #5). Hopefully it'll chart higher when the physicals do release.

Self Esteem said today she was #7 and ahead of Coldplay. I'm assuming the 6 above will also be new albums as Saturday midweeks would be largely pre-orders with the odd sites one day of streaming?

I expect a second week easily above 100k for Adele.

Biffy Clyro, Duran Duran, Elton John and Lana Del Rey for sure I'd think. Not so sure about what the other two would be. Parquet Courts maybe? And The Rolling Stones have a re-release although not sure what the level of interest in that particular album would be. Don't think Mimi Webb would be this high from pure sales.

I tried to buy Self Esteem's album today and my local HMV didn't have it in yet (and also thought I was asking for an Offspring song) :( Amazon is showing two weeks for delivery. Streamed it instead and it's really good but I will buy it when I can track it down.

I did however purchase Elton John (first album of his I've bought since the Pnau collab in 2012 funnily enough) and Lana today, a solid week for new releases.

Yeh if the albums sell to their potential we could have quite a few over 20k this week although saying that there could be some under performances too.
