December 10, 20213 yr Casserole Jenkins- Rage Against Sky Bet for Christmas #1 please. It really shouldn't be void if LadBaby is still the main artist..

December 10, 20213 yr Author It is a joke like, can you not go to the consumer council? They pointed me towards their complaints procedure so I've gone ahead and wrote out a lengthy message to them. We'll see what crap they come back with. I've informed them that I'll be wanting my Sky Bet account closing when this has been sorted. Its put a total dampner on following the Christmas charts for me now but I'm aware that's very first world problem stuff.
December 10, 20213 yr Author Why are the K***s not on that list? I think the odds must have shortened for them a bit after the recent news about the Downing Street Christmas party! Yeah, it's weird. I've checked Oddschecker and they're not listed at all  Edited December 10, 20213 yr by Jαsє
December 10, 20213 yr Casserole Jenkins- Rage Against The Sausage Roll for Christmas #1 please.
December 11, 20213 yr SkyBet, Coral and William Hill have told me they will pay out for my bet on "LadBaby" and I put on £2000 (yes you heard that right)!!! So i think you will win if it comes through!! Remember the official single is: LadBaby feat. Ed Sheeran and Elton John - Sausage Rolls for Everyone LadBaby is the main artist so it counts.... that would be like someone betting on "Adele" for christmas #1 (BACK IN SEPTEMBER) and because she decides to add Lewis Capaldi and Sting as features in December, means that the bookmakers shouldn't pay out on her if she takes it - MAKES NO SENSE!! December 11, 20213 yr Author Bets will be settled on the individual selection i.e. as a solo artist / band. Any collaborations will be quoted separately. Sorry about that Jason. As it stands at the moment, it wouldn't be a winner as he is not by himself. Jesus f***ing Christ.
December 11, 20213 yr I still think you have a case. I agree that they shouldn't pay out if you bet on Ed & Elton and LadBaby wins as they are not the main artist
December 11, 20213 yr Unfortunately they probably have something covered for this eventuality in the legal small print. If they are refusing to pay out they are probably already confident that they are within their rights to do so. :(

As it stands at the moment, it wouldn't be a winner as he is not by himself. Jesus f***ing Christ. A collaboration normally points to a feature - I'm sure that's what they mean. If the single was "Ed & Elton feat. LadBaby" then that would count as a collaboration. I wouldn't worry too much as you should be fine!! If i could put the screenshot of my convo with skybet i would - but 'Robina K' said have been advised by traders that the bet will still stand!!
December 11, 20213 yr Really shows the Betting companies are money grabbing parasites. Clearly you should win and they are being completely Scrooge like about it.
December 11, 20213 yr Author I still think you have a case. I agree that they shouldn't pay out if you bet on Ed & Elton and LadBaby wins as they are not the main artist Nope, no bets on Ed & Elton. Had both bets on just LadBaby. Thanks for the kind/reassuring words, guys. I'll keep you all updated in this thread.
December 15, 20213 yr Author Got a response this morning. After a bunch of paragraphs about how I'm apparently wrong they came out with I can only apologise for any poor experience, however, after speaking to my traders they have said that if the song that involves the collaboration wins, we will pay out on selections placed on ‘Ladbaby’ only as a good will gesture. This isn’t the correct settlement as our market notes do state, however they have decided on settling this as an absolute one off. Going forward please be advised that for this market and similar ones, all named artists will have to be advertised. So we shall see.
December 16, 20213 yr Great, fingers crossed It'll be a bugger if he somehow misses number 1 now though
December 16, 20213 yr I just went to put a small bet on The K*nts and they're nowhere to be seen on any bookies site!?! Surely it's easily second favourite and the only other thing that stands a chance. Edited December 16, 20213 yr by gooddelta
