UGH the draft is plain awful... why add 3 more stars to raw that will want to be vying for the already competetive title. HELLO, we are due a long title reign please.

And poor smackdown, feel bad for Kofi, it's almost like a demotion for him, just hope he can end up at the top of the roster over there. I feel the draft was quite pointless tbh.

LOL @ Maryse, what a joke, she annoys me so I was quite happy even though I hate Michelle McCool more.

AS for Extreme rules, I need to watch the whole LMS match but I think the ending was genious even though I LOATHE John Cena. I don't get why there was a stipulation in CM Pumk's match EVEN though it wasn't gonna happen. The strap match was out of place and no one cared but the ending was pretty funny tbh

GREAT to see a proper diva's match for a change, yanno, lasting more then 1 minute. Still gutted at the loss of Mickie James but i'm beginning to think that Beth could cover the space in my heart where she left off.

Randy Orton didnt win so i'm currently sulking.

Oh and one of my new favourites on WWE? R-Truth... he's hilarious.

Oh and agree, Evan Bourne is CRIMINALLY underused.

And bored with the whole Drew Mcintyre thingy/phase/whatever.

The Miz.

To further the storyline. I think (hope) their feud is far from over and I could see it ending with a mask vs. hair match where Punk actually loses his hair.

My current top 10 would look something like this:

1. CM Punk

2. Rey

3. Chris Jericho

4. Christian

5. Jack Swagger

6. The Miz

7. Randy Orton

8. Dolph Ziggler

9. Sheamus

10. Batista

I was just watching One Night Stand 2007 last night again. I forgot just how good/how much I loved the Hardyz vs. The Worlds Greatest Tag Tem Ladder Match! GAHHH! Why can't there be any tag teams like these two again? Who do we have now? Hart Dynasty? Who else? :drama:

The Dudebusters!!11

The WWE seemed to have given up on tag team wrestling a long time ago which is very sad.

The last time I liked their tag diivision was when there were MnM and London & Kendrick ().

Anybody remember that "surprise" 4-way tag team ladder match at Armageddon 2006? That ruled.

Was that the PPV where Joey Mercury busted his nose or whatever, thanks to Jeff?
Yeah that match was quite something. I love surprise matches like that! Which is why I loved the massive RAW Tag match for the titles in 2007, (after WM) it just came out of nowhere and I thoroughly was on the edge of my seat, praying and hoping the Hardyz were gonna win. I had doubts though as I didn't think WWE wanted to push them much as a tag team anymore, so I leaped out of my chair literally when they won haha. Feelings like that are amazing!

Don't remember that particular match but I think that was at a time where I wasn't following wrestling that closely.

I had this moment when CM Punk cashed in his first MITB case on Edge at the beginning of a RAW in 2008. That was quite a gentle surprise. :D

It was a bit surprising that he cashed it in when he did, as I believed he'd genuinely wait around a bit longer to cash it in, and I believed he would have been the one to do it normally and have a proper match for it. That wasn't to happen :drama:

I dunno. It's just The Hardyz that seem to be the ones, to make me react in that way. Well, Lita does too, but she's not there anymore :( They're seriously, like my biggest idols lol. Every match involving them, unless it's a squash match in which they lose, I love more than I perhaps should. I still proclaim Matt/MVP & Jeff/Kennedy feuds to be some of the best mid-card rivalries ever.

Matt/MVP was a lot of fun indeed but more because of MVP than because of Hardy (IMO). Too bad MVP is lost in mid-card hell on RAW right now. He could have been a main-eventer by now if they did it right. He's a really good talker and a decent wrestler.

Of the two Hardys, I definately prefer Matt. Since returning, he is kinda bad and boring but his run in the summer of 2008 (IIRC) was great where he had the best TV matches constantly.

I don't really like Jeff too much, tbh. Yeah, some of the spots he does are crazy and stupid but he relies too much on them, IMO. As a wrestler, he is pretty sloppy. And he can't talk, either. I hate it when he says a sentence in a normal tone and just suddenly gets very loud for the last 2 words because he thinks that is SHOWING EMOTION!! When it actually makes him look like an idiot. :P

Sorry.

Feel free to rip on my "heroes" CM Punk and Rey now.

Nah. It's alright :P. I understand where you're coming from. (I prefer Matt to Jeff too!) I definitely see what you mean about Jeff and his talking LMAO! I just love how involved Matt gets with his feuds. He always manages to put his all into everything he does. He's also a good wrestler too imo. He's got a unique style. It's quite simple, but it has an edge (if that makes sense?). I think Jeff improved (on his wrestling) too as he got into main event status. Still, woulda preferred Matt to have taken his place though :(

Matt & Edge have the best in-ring chemistry bar none imo. They have ALWAYS worked brilliantly together and have been involved in some of my all-time favourite matches.

I won't be ripping into Punk, as I have always thought he was pretty amazing in the ring. He just got boring, seeing as his character never really took off, until he turned heel imo. Rey. hmmm... I dunno. I'm so torn on him. Some spots he does do make me think "WOW. That was impressive". But I find him to be quite boring and his character is boring me now too. Has he ever even been heel? I know it'd be risky on WWE's part, but I'd like at least a try-out to see how Rey would do as a heel. I dunno. I find wrestlers to be more exciting when they have a character turn.

I usually really like Matt in the ring as well but he hasn't really been that impressive since returning. Let's see where that McIntyre feud is going. Maybe he actually gets a nice US title run. But I kinda doubt that with Jeff being in TNA. I think Vince McMahon is the kinda guy that would use that as a reason to hold him down.

Matt + Edge = Unforgiven 2005 cage match = One of the best matches of the last decade, IMO.

Punk was VERY boring as a face and his first championship run after cashing in on Edge was awful. I hoped all the time that they would finally turn him heel and run with that Straight Edge thing (I followed him already on the indies and knew that he could pull that off perfectly) and they did it (against Jeff :kink:). I basically loved everything he was involved in from that point until now. He was awesome in the Rumble especially.

I can definately see how you think Rey's character is boring. I actually think the same since he doesn't even have a real "character". He's a worse talker than Jeff actually. :P My love for him is only based on his in-ring skills which are out of this world, tbh. He just can't show them too often in the WWE.

I don't think they will ever turn him heel, though. The main reason being the merchandise he sells. I'm pretty sure he is in the top 3 (maybe even P1) as far as the WWE making money with merchandise for one wrestler goes. And I doubt he could pull it off. As I said, he can't talk too well. And just look at him. He's probably the smalles member of the WWE roster right now (except Hornswoggle ;)). It wouldn't really be believable if he was a bad guy. And he would have to be really really mean for the fans to actually boo him after many years of cheering him on.

Yeah. I'm interested in the McIntyre thing too. Especially seeing as Matt seems to be taking it to twitter now :heehee: I really hope he manages to get the IC title for a bit (even though it's not been relevant since Jeff & John Morrison were last feuding over it -_-), but I completely agree about the whole Vince keeping him down just because he's related to Jeff. :( I wholeheartedly agree about that match too. So many spots which had me false cheering HAHA.

Yeah. I'm really starting to get back into Punk now he's a heel, he's awesome at promo's and stuff. I remember seeing a video of his indie days and I knew he had a hell of alot of potential! Yeah, I see where you're going with Rey. I understand he's the biggest merchandise selling superstar, which is why it'd be risky for them to turn him heel. (I'd imagine his masks are like the biggest selling items in WWE ever or whatever haha.) Ah well.

Lets talk about something else, Jack Swagger. Who i'm warming too loads recently, and I'm actually quite happy for him to be champ now! :o

Taking it to Twitter? I haven't heard anything about that yet. :D

Oh, right, it was the IC title. Although I would say that the IC title was very relevant last year with Rey/Jericho/Morrison/Ziggler feuding over it. That was a lot of fun and I loved the Jericho vs. Rey matches. And Rey vs. Ziggler from Summerslam. That match was great and gets overlooked too quickly. Some parts of the crowd where actually chanting Ziggler's name towards the end of the match because he was so good in it, IIRC.

I think Swagger is on of the 5 best wrestlers currently in the WWE. He's not too good on the mic, though. A manager would really help him, IMO. There aren't enough managers in the WWE anyway if you ask me. Maybe he could get "the hottest free agent" Abraham Washington. :kink:

Did you watch ECW? Swagger had 2 or 3 fantastic matches against Christian for the ECW championship in the beginning of the last year. With Christian being drafted to SD, I hope they'll feud there as well. Really looking forward to those matches.

Yeah. He's been calling him and stuff on twitter like an "idiot" or something for doing what he did to him etc...

Oooh yesss. I forgot about that (obviously :heehee:) Sometimes I think the Mid Card matches are far superior to the main event matches we see. Although they're not as gimmicky as the main event matches, sometimes, simplicity is the key. Ziggler is so under used and to see them use him and make him lose against Hornswoggle on RAW the other night, was devastating to see! :(

Yeah. At first I wasn't keen on his character (although he always had potential), but i'm definitely preferring his character now that he's champ. He's deifnitely one of the best workers in the WWE, no question about that. And yes I too am looking forward to future Christian/Swagger facings! :D

I guess he takes it really serious then.

I definately agree with you on mid-card matches often being better than main events.

Ziggler's loss against Hornswoggle was ridiculous. Ziggler wanted back in the ring but Hornswoggle prevented him from doing that so the ref should have stopped counting as is usually done. AND Hornswoggle was actually using foreign objects to throw at Ziggler and the match wasn't No-DQ so Hornswoggle should have been disqualified. But I guess the WWE just forgets to think about those "little" things. -_-

TBF thought... that is done a LOT lately... it really bugs me too.

Like Hart Dynasty (who have NO charisma and bore me to tears might I add)... do that stupid Hart Attack move and they are both in the ring, the other never leaves straight away, IIRC when Miz was pinned at ER the other was still stood in the ring whilst the count was being done... erm 5 second rule my ASS.

TBF the Dolph vs Horswoggle ending did make me chuckle a fair bit, and Dolph is just YAWNsome.

BTW I was reading something about the draft show, and I watched the programme back to see/hear it for myself BUT if any of you have access to watc the divas match (Laycool vs Maryse and Eve) you can hear chants of WE WANT MICKIE quite clearly. It goes round the arena about 2/3 times.

I'm glad... I miss her already... *sigh* :(

Edge's good guy thing was short lived. Haven't seen any of the weekly show but its discusses that he's gone heel again. Obviously they wanted to give a little good guy role.

My top 15 ATM

1-John Morrison

2-Randy Orton

3-Chris Jericho

4-Beth Phoenix

5-Edge

6-John Cena

7-Triple H

8-R Truth

9-Evan Bourne

10-Kane

11-Matt Hardy

12-Christian

13-Justin Gabriel

14-Hart Dynasty

15-Eve Torres

McIntyre, Punk, Rey & Kingston have all got yet still sorta exciting but boring IMO
