'Scripture' was not immediately an all time N DNTN fave or anything for me but it is another one that grew on me a lot on second listen and can see it growing further - a pretty obvious Q tho!

Woo for at least one of the Asian songs qualifying xx

SEMI 2

QUALIFIER #4:

République d'Áskorza: Tiscore - Where The Roses Grow

QUALIFIER #5:

Chestoria: Maude Latour - One More Weekend

Not only was the Blondie sample a successful avenue but so was the Mozart one for République d'Áskorza! The Chestoria comeback is also off to a triumphant start

A charming return entry from Chestoria which I can also see continuing to grow on me, happy to see that one through!

QUALIFIER #6:

Lookylion: Royal & The Serpent - Choke

QUALIFIER #7:

Cor Lupus: Sublab & imallryt - Next To Me

Lookylion are another nation who pertained to the Halloween theme with the spooky 'Choke' and they are rewarded for it too!

Cor Lupus were also not messing around with the big synths! Thankfully random.org decided to be kind to Cody tonight, let relaxation commence, no flopping in sight x

yay for Tiscore getting through, rep d’askorza does not play around when it comes to dance songs *.*

Also yay for Sublab going through! I kinda thought it was in the wrong semi so I’m glad to see I was proven wrong and that there were a few supporters lurking, whoever you are thank you

If I ever get to host again I'm definitely going to rig Cor Lupus' semi to be as friendly to their entry as possible just to see if Cody still says he's in a bad semi and has no chance of qualifying xx

((or am I))

Seriously though Cor Lupus seemed like a pretty obvious qualifier to me as per usual and it was a good song so yay x

QUALIFIER #8:

St. Burbia: AWA - 24/7

QUALIFIER #9:

Kathaldazia - X CLUB. - Elevation (Journey Mix)

St. Burbia are on a bit of a hot streak at the moment and that continues with former finalist AWA making the cut again! (not to be confused with A-WA of 'Habib Galbi' fame)

Kathaldazia were worried that they would suffer from wrong semi syndrome this time but they can relax now, semi 2 got on board with techno!

QUALIFIER #10:

Wholune: jxdn - SO WHAT!

QUALIFIER #11:

Hushkanukia: Kadiatou - Don't Complicate It

Wholune have made it to the final despite the 15% deduction! Will the other rock entries in semi 2 be following them?

Of course there's plenty of room for pop too so welcome Hushkanukia to the final line-up as well!

DNQs on the way alongside the Qs next...

Wow I didn't think Wholune would have made it even without a deduction. Fair though, it was a better song than I expected from the artist behind it. (Though there are better rock entries which better also be through now xx)

QUALIFIER #12:

Jupiterdonia: Palaye Royale - Punching Bag

DNQ

Trifoski: dltzk - pretender

29th • 5 points

Indeed the rock bloc continues to thrive as Jupiterdonia have made it! Palaye Royale not only receive the thumbs up from Måneskin on socials but also the BJSC voters.

I mean, most people would probably be disappointed with just 5 points and a last place, but I get the feeling that Seven will be thrilled with his wooden spoon so... congrats? :kink:

(Though there are better rock entries which better also be through now xx)

I manifested it :cheeseblock: Yay for Jupiterdonia! (A Kylienips qualifier also wouldn't go amiss)

The dltzk song was cool but definitely not particularly standout for its genre, a rare occasion where Seven was actually accurate in claiming he sent a no-hoper  congrats on the addition to your spoon collection :cheer:

Yesssssss stoked to be through nice an early

Qualifiers are looking really good so far. Come through SF2
