Im surprised to see people preferring a second to midnight as i think its much weaker than kiss of life myself.

 

Probably because it's really basic compared to this.

 

I heard the track a couple of times and honestly, the song doesn't sound very "Kylie" but sounds very like a Jessie Ware track. I can imagine this song on "What's Your Pleasure" album without Kylie in it.

 

It will take a few more listens to grow on me but yes, it's far better than A Second to Midnight (sounds a bit dull).

 

But I very mucy look forward to the video. :hub:

This one didn’t get a Radio 2 premiere and sales are typically slightly higher on Friday than they are Wednesday/Thursday (not that it makes too much difference now given how low downloads are).

I love A Second to Midnight.

Just listened to Kiss of Life and won't be going back to it.

Didn't like any of it.

Worst song I've heard from Kylie for a while.

The reaction is a bit flat to be honest.

 

TBH it’s the same with every Kylie collab - they get hyped up so much before anyone has even heard anything and then all fall a bit flat once they are released.

Ya to be fair none of the collabs have been brilliant in the last good few tears apart from the excellent music's too sad without you.

It’s literally because they all get hyped up out of proportion - people have been hailing the Jessie collab for months and it makes people expect more

 

The more I listen to this song the more I love it huns

Me too, I really like it

Kiss of life I think is a grower,, I agree some of the collabs fo get really hyped up although the other boys is one that has grown on me.
