Young people don't watch telly. Older people buy the track to make sure it's donation counts.

 

Anyway the raw numbers are a bit disappointing for Adele on Spotify but still impressive that she's got the entire Top 12. As has been said a fair few times on here though, she's not a big streaming artist tradition, I'd also hazard a guess she disproportionately skews to Apple and Amazon

funnily the original of Everywhere is back into the top 200 today

I agree: I expected higher streams though. And I agree, that’s what you get putting out an album full of 6+ mins songs.

 

Still she got more than 7100 streaming sales from Spotify alone yesterday by my calculations. The numbers will go down but it can still be on course for 50k+ of streaming! Again, I expected more, but what can you do!

Really great figures for Adele! Not record breaking, but considering half the album consists of 5min+ songs that's amazing.

The album is too long (songs length) and too good and not popish for the streaming era. Sad.

I'm not sure she will end up going more experimental - I'm going to imagine the directive on her next album contract will be '19 or 21 not 25 or 30'

The reason for normal streams on Adeles album is because it is what it is. Not something extraordinary excluding a few highlights and mot because of 6 min songs

That's subjective tho...
