Posted November 6, 20213 yr Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information. If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder: SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios: 100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc) 600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc) ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios: 200 premium streams = 1 sale 1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR. The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. The explanations are posted in each update to assist you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1ST 6 | Song is in its first six weeks in the chart so is not affected by ACR. November 6, 20213 yr Approve of the DCL-3s! Well other than Sam and Billie and they were kinda inevitable.
November 6, 20213 yr Not Obsessed With You getting an increase :/ Happy to see most of those moves to ACR, except for Seventeen Going Under - although appropriately this will be its 17th week on the chart :magic:
November 6, 20213 yr Author Obsessed With You had its official video release just before the start of the tracking week, which explains the increase! Up 16-1 on video streaming so it was inevitable sadly.
November 6, 20213 yr Looks like a good clear out this week and hopefully next. Hopefully means we will get a few more new hits in before Christmas music takes over the top 100.
November 7, 20213 yr didn't realise Cold Heart was in danger of ACR Yeh it doesn’t feel like it’s charged for ten weeks!
November 7, 20213 yr Author I think Cold Heart could do a Levitating and get a reset in the new year Levitating got a manual reset, I doubt the OCC would grant one to a song that's already peaked at the highest possible position.
November 7, 20213 yr Levitating got a manual reset, I doubt the OCC would grant one to a song that's already peaked at the highest possible position. I think it could get a 25% increase with New Years. It seems to do be popular for party playlists and performs better on weekends!
November 7, 20213 yr Author I think it could get a 25% increase with New Years. It seems to do be popular for party playlists and performs better on weekends! They paused the automatic resets immediately after Christmas last year and allowed labels to nominate a limited number of songs to get a manual reset to potentially improve upon their peak, to stop the chaos of loads of old songs getting resets!
November 7, 20213 yr They paused the automatic resets immediately after Christmas last year and allowed labels to nominate a limited number of songs to get a manual reset to potentially improve upon their peak, to stop the chaos of loads of old songs getting resets! Oh I see! I didn't realize that oops
November 8, 20213 yr His new singles out this week so it’s perfect timing really! It came out last week but he released it too soon IMO. Out Out is still streaming extremely well which is why his new one isn’t off to a great start, he should have waited until the new year to release it I reckon.
November 8, 20213 yr Pity OUT OUT is already on ACR. It doesn't look old for me. To me it feels like it's been in the top 10 for about 6 months!
December 3, 20213 yr Author Recent info has come through late in the week so there's been little point posting, I'd have posted them if we'd got the info more promptly. If we don't get an update this weekend (and we may well not, I've always said these aren't guaranteed!) then I'll make a few guesstimates on Sunday.
