I feel it could be quite a bit bigger than "Leave The Door Open" both here and in the US! ‘Leave the Door Open’ is projected to end up as the US Billboard no.6 in their End of Year charts so to be quite a bit bigger over their we’re talking gargantuan!
November 12, 20214 yr Yeah it won't be too hard for it to be a bigger hit than 'Leave The Door Open' in the UK but that song was wayyy bigger in the US than it was here. That said, 'Smokin Out The Window' is #1 on US Spotify now which apparently 'Leave The Door Open' never managed (peaking at #2) and with the amount of traction it's gaining so quickly it's not crazy to imagine that it might be a similar level hit in the US. Its release has actually been pretty much perfectly timed for the 2022 end of year charts in the US as well since the tracking year for some inexplicable reason starts in mid November.

It wasn't even top 10 on any streaming platforms the week it stole #1 from Levitating, only went #1 because Billboard randomly increased the weight of airplay
