Its hard to understand what way they are going about this, it seems really drawn out, looks like everything will be just really rushed now.
Maybe they saw the negative reaction to the leak and decided to cancel it lol

I mean, I wouldnt be surprised if their team told the Spice Circle team to delete my post which was gathering a LOT of comments, most of them negative ones about the lack of unreleased music... lol....

I say this because it was very weird how the Spice Circle team deleted my post with the excuse that there was already a general post about Spiceworld25 whereas there are so many other SPW25 related posts in there and hundreds of daily posts about Mel C's book tour where there is also a post for that too... it seemed very very pointed...

They wont cancel it of course, but they probably are on a damage-control operation right now

Usually they just lock double posts, don't they? Why delete it entirely?

Do you know who is the moderator that deleted it?

Spice girls net deleted it, he defo gets told what to do by their team and is in contact with them. Tbh deleting it is normal, Mel C's team often contact Sam or Craig about deleting something off Spice Circle that hasn't been announced. I don't think a positive or negative reaction would play a part in it more it should be embargoed until they announce it.

Have no idea why they are waiting though, with a Nov 4th release date the vinyls will be pressed now or final designs done and you cant just add songs to a cd that are old they would need to be mastered ect. I fear they have some ridiculous plan that will fall flat as a way to launch this instead of just getting it out there.

OMG ... the hot glue gun girls are fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiightiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!

In all seriousness though -- all it would take is for their team to hop on social media or a couple forums to realize what a lot of us want, is the album they recorded but never gave us and whatever songs from their first two albums are still locked away.

Common sense doesn't prevail here. Case in point: the 7" mix of SYBT on SPICE25. Why?

WHY!?

That could have been the SW remix of SYBT, or, the album version of SYBT with Mel B's extended rap. Both wanted. Highly. But ... nope. Let's just add "7 inch" to the mix -- that should bring all the gays to the yard. :teresa:

If the girls truly don't have much to offer on these anniversary editions, then they should have released a b-sides album with a few unreleased tracks on it. I feel this type of release would have pleased the fans more than what they are currently doing.

1. Wannabe (Demo)

2. Feed Your Love

3. Bumper To Bumper

4. Take Me Home

5. One Of These Girls

6. Baby Come Round

7. Step To Me

8. Say You'll Be There (Spice World Version)

9. Walk Of Life

10. Outer Space Girls

11. My Strongest Suit

12. W.O.M.A.N.

13. Go Go Go

14. Spice Is Back

Where can I buy that?

Wait ... add an "in-demand" remix from 1997 as a bonus track first.

Exactly! Can't like this post enough. The girls know what we wanted and decided not to give it to us.

SW 25 is going to flop unless they throw Woman on the track list haha

Deleted and it didnt say who did it, just the 'reason' for it lol

Spice Circle is a joke. The guy who had a hand in leaking Geri's Man On the Mountain album gave Melanie C that fan made coffee table book with copyrighted images.

Not just Spice Circle, apparently the links and info on this from yesterday have been removed as well on other forums and online listings...

They clearly are in damage-control mode lol... If this means they will tag at least ONE unreleased song onto an online streaming platform, THEN SO BE IT!!! <_<

I really don't want to just buy the same f***ing songs over and over again...

Agreed. I think they forget how many singles they sold because us hardcore fans already have those bsides. It's just not an incentive for me to buy "remastered" versions of tracks I already have.

I would like remastered versions of the songs, which is why I will buy at least one version of the release, but I wont go all out like Spice25 this time, as there doesnt seem much incentives to do so

I still think they are silly not to do the individual covers again, they were clearly a big seller for them last time resulting in their high charting position. Or maybe they were not profitable for them?

I think it was a bit of a waste to be honest... Certainly most people wouldn't invest in all of those like last time, as the element of surprise is done.

Personally, I don't give a crap about individual covers. It's been done and it wasnt even that cute anyway.

I don’t really get that perspective because it was those individual formats that drove Spice 25 to be a Top 5 success. Without that gimmick… well who knows what is in store for Spiceworld 25. Would be helpful if they could actually announce it x

I still think they should transfer the gimmick over to CDs. Cheaper and still collectable. If they still only do a £30 deluxe CD then I can’t believe (but also can believe) that the label hasn’t learned their lesson from last time.

The individual vinyls sold very well, they got a 2nd pressing (which were slightly more seethrough discs than the first pressing). Though I agree with Mr.X the novelty was it happening the first time, I think I would opt out of buying all 5 again if the track listing was the same for all 5, which it would as you can only really fit 10 songs on one vinyl.

There is a cost of living crisis and they will want you to fork out more cash a month later for Spiceworld the movie anniversary too.

I'm slightly relived it looks like 4 formats (maybe 5 with a store cassette too) as I can afford that and wont have to pick and choose what I buy.

The only thing I don't understand right now is why the delay? I knew there was less formats, these were decided yonks ago. They are just wasting pre-order time now, unless they have some big announcememt to make alongside it or some big reason to wait then just get on with it.
