For me it always feel like a Step one release though the song was featured on Steptacular.

 

 

Fair enough. I guess I’m the same, but just thought I’d check.

• It’s featured with a Step one song.

• It got released during the Step one era.

• Better best forgotten got released after, another Step one single.

Yeah all great points. The only counter is that it features on Steptacular. Saying that though, it was on a reissue of Step One in Australia.

True. Though it doesn’t feel like Steptacular for me.

 

How does everyone else thinks about this?

I always associate it with Step one.

Well it was of course released during the Step One era, but for that era its only availability was as that stand alone single. Eventually included on Steptacular which does technically make it the first single from that release. Better the Devil You Know & Summer of Love were posted about in the Buzz thread by the way.

Oh they've put out a Deeper Shade Of Blue remix EP, including the new Project K's Hacienda mix and the Steps 25 Revisited Mix. I'm glad that they digitised it for all of us who weren't able to get the physical vinyl.

 

I hope at some point they put all the other Steps 25 Revisited mixes online too! Heartbeat, Summer of Love and After The Love Has Gone's new mixes were great.
