June 20, 20223 yr Author Finally got round to listening to this last night. Definitely an album of two halves; you can hear the progression and the journey it takes. It maybe isn't packed with obvious singles like "Staying At Tamara's" was but I get the feeling from George that's not the point with this album. I especially love 'Manila', 'Don't Give Up' and 'Sweetest Human Being Alive'. He's releasing a film that he made during the making of the album tied into the album that's coming out in cinemas for one night only on 29th August: View this post on Instagram
September 16, 20222 yr ‘Dance All Over Me’ has been added to Apple Music’s Today’s Hits playlist so it must be the next single.
September 16, 20222 yr Yeah, "Dance All Over Me" is the next single. A standalone release with the instrumental is available on DSPs.
September 18, 20222 yr I’m liking Dance All Over Me. Am I the only one that gets slight Nothing Breaks Like A Heart vibes? In an acoustic type way.
October 15, 20222 yr Do we think Manila could be a future single? It's one of the catchiest songs on the album. OmVZJJZU3n0 Edited October 15, 20222 yr by Voodoo
October 15, 20222 yr Do we think Manila could be a future single? It's one of the catchiest songs on the album. OmVZJJZU3n0 That or ‘Gold Rush Kid’ would be my pick for future singles. I think ‘Sweetest Human Being Alive’ might be giving a push if he goes for a ballad.
November 11, 20222 yr A Christmas edition has been released to digital platforms featuring ‘Come On Home for Christmas’ (which is no longer an Amazon exclusive), a cover of White Christmas, three string versions of songs on the album and three live songs.
November 11, 20222 yr Ah, that means that 'White Christmas' is also no longer a Spotify exclusive then.
January 12, 20232 yr George is performing Sweetest Human Being Alive on Michael McIntyre's show on 21st Jan so I guess that's the next single
January 25, 20232 yr Such a shame 'Dance All Over Me' didn't really take off as a single. Really thought it would be a hit.
