I think my biggest fantasy performance tonight would be Dave doing 'Both Sides Of A Smile' with James Blake or 'Heart Attack' - something to really show off the depth of the album - but the former clocks in at 8 minutes and the latter 10, so probably not  slightly shorter but potentially amazing would be 'In The Fire' with all the uncredited vocalists joining in. I'd hazard a guess at the reality being something more commercial-sounding like 'Verdansk' or 'Clash' or even both, but I'd love more of a 'Black' moment again like in 2020, he's so talented.

I'd also be ALL OVER an 'Introvert' performance for Little Simz as that was one of my favourite songs last year

I'm still not getting bored of 'Seventeen Going Under' so I'd be perfectly happy for Sam Fender to sing that, but looking forward to whatever he'll do.

Awards-wise I'm mostly rooting for Dave, Wolf Alice and Måneskin - I feel a bit more confident for the latter now, as aforementioned they're in London so surely attending the ceremony, before I thought ABBA would be nailed on but now not sure, c'mon a Eurovision artist either way

I do love a BRITS collaboration of names you often wouldn't put together, so I'm hoping it's true Ed Sheeran is bringing out some special guests.

Oh yes these are a highlight - the Disclosure and Lorde one is still a favourite

Yeah it’ll be a big moment! I wonder if he’d release the collab today after the performance (if it happens of course), or wait until Friday?

if he done the collab with taylor tonight it should be released immediate.

I’m sure I read Ed is opening the show so I can’t see him doing ‘The Joker And The Queen’. I think he will do ‘Bad Habits’ and the special guests will be Tion Wayne and Central Cee from the remix version. If Taylor was performing with him I imagine we would of heard about it by now.

but he teased he was practising The joker on IG, maybe he does a medley starting with Bad Habits

then switching to The joker and bringing Taylor on stage

The Florence & The Machine/Dizzee Rascal surprise mashup was a great BRITS moment. Something that didn't sound like it would work on paper but did and became a hit.

Yep, that has to be the ultimate BRIT collaboration I think.

One of my favourites is Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield coming together to sing a very dramatic 'Ain't Nobody':

And I can't go without mentioning Justin and Kylie:

Red carpet show is starting now on ITV2! Becky Hill is currently performing.

Thanks for the heads up! -tries to spot Måneskin- x

Ed just said the new single is coming out Friday

Isn’t it kind of a bad idea playing the duet tonight but not officially releasing it til Friday on the account that the album version could get enough attention to chart in the Top 40 by this Friday and then the OCC won’t credit Taylor on it subsequently…. Unless they just make it up again.

I don't think that credit situation was ever a rule - the OCC use whatever the labels ask them to use basically. If Ed's label want Taylor credited then that's what will happen.

Hmm Bring Me The Horizon have just posted a link to watch the Brits livestream... perhaps they’re performing with Ed Sheeran

and someone’s pointed out here that Ed’s wearing a hoodie from BMTH’s clothing brand... surely not!

Ah I see didn’t know that tbh. I’m surprised that the labels don’t bother to ask for remix credits a lot more often, I can’t imagine it’s that much of a hassle.

The joker hasn't charted, so Taylor can be credited

I do think that's the rule

never broken except for... ed OCC sheeran of course :D
