Posted December 10, 20213 yr In possibly one of the most exciting, explosive title battles of recent time it comes down to the final race at the one and only Abu Dhabi . Who do you think will win the world title? Lewis Hamilton to make history and become the first eight-time world champion or Max Verstappen winning his first world title?
December 10, 20213 yr I was thinking of starting a poll for this too! I'm fully hoping Lewis will win but can't help but feel Max will do something stupid (but not obvious enough to warrant a points deduction) therefore I think he'll win the title.
December 10, 20213 yr Expect Lewis Want Max Max has been on another level this year. Yes he has made some pretty bad errors/displayed some poor behaviour, but he deserves this title. I hate the idea that Lewis wins by a small points margin, putting it all down to that incident in Silverstone (which in my opinion was Lewis Hamilton’s fault)
December 10, 20213 yr The momentum seems to be with Lewis Hamilton as he has won the last 3 races so I would imagine that he'll be the favourite to win the Championship.
December 10, 20213 yr Overall, the Merc has been comfortably the best car since the summer break and Lewis has stopped making the errors he did at the start of the season. The track is more suited to Mercedes too, and they've ironed out their early season handling issues. I feel Max, on balance has driven better and been more consistent this year but the Red Bull isn't quite good enough this year. If nothing out of the ordinary happens it's in the bag for Lewis and the Silver Arrows
December 10, 20213 yr I think the bookies are pretty spot on with Lewis 8/13 and Max 8/5. I'd love Lewis to take the record having put up such a fight. I'm not necessarily sure either are particularly more 'deserving' than the other, Max I guess on account of having a bit more bad luck. I can sort of feel the race being a bit anticlimactic, possibly a HAM BOT VER podium, but just hope it's not decided by bad driving and penalties.
