I believe that samples Big Ang's song 'Wifey' in the chorus. Which is not a very well known song but has appeared on some Clubland albums.

 

 

As for Tom Zanetti, similar dance rapper Silky seems to have overtaken him recently by having a few minor streaming hits, although I wouldn't count out Tom Zanetti from having another hit soon.

This is quite decent, a new hit for Mr Zanetti in 2022 perhaps?

Yep this sounds like it will be a hit, probably not top 10 though.

Looks like we were wrong about Wifey possibly being a hit, and anyway Tom Zanetti has got impatient and put out the next single quickly. Anyway his new one sounds like quite a nice tune, its very 2009 I think!

Liking this. It samples Bobby Valentino's track which was a Top 5 single in 2005.

 

Great use of sampling.

I thought slap house was over as a trend, this is a very catchy example of the genre though! The sample is well used.

Huge bump for this thread lol but I can’t stop listening to ‘Slow Down’ after discovering it, what a banger! I love the beat and also feel Tom sounds really good when he raps (if that’s what we’re calling it) over the music. Shame this doesn’t look like doing anything chart wise

It doesn't appear to be attracting the attention it deserves.
