Aitch is on track for 13.2k and Madonna is on track for 14k, but I imagine Aitch will get another boost from streaming added last minute.

Could be! Hopefully they're added in time, they could make all the difference in staying ahead of Aitch.

Spent most of the day listening to this, what a fantastic collection. So nice to hear familiar classics in different ways.

 

My absolute favourite five are the mixes of Deeper and Deeper, What It Feels Like For A Girl, Girl Gone Wild, Sorry and Nothing Really Matters. Wow at all of these :wub:

 

Also loving having some of the single mixes and alternate cuts of the 80s/early 90s classics too. I actually like all of the mixes from Madame X too, quite a step up from the MDNA and Rebel Heart mixes for me, with the exception of that Avicii one.

1 Steps 19,594 (+2,140)

Huge increases for Steps and Aitch whilst Madonna sells less yesterday than she did Monday. :(

Looks like #3 at best for Madonna (which is less painful than another #2 at least :kink:). It's also much better than pretty much everyone expected so let's be positive!

Very true! I didn't think it was on course for a Top 5 peak prior to release week, so if it does end up at #3 that's excellent.

 

I guess #3 would make it one of the highest peaking remix albums? That would equal the peak of Lady Gaga - The Remix from 2010.

Yeah I thought it would chart somewhere between 6-10 so #3 really would be fantastic. It would be only place above her first remix album You Can Dance too.

 

In terms of best chart positions for remix albums, Michael Jackson went to #1 with Blood on the Dancefloor in 1997 and I believe is the best selling remix album worldwide, with Madonna second with You Can Dance.

Yes it’s a decent result….especially as the 3CD is £19.99 or whatever and the 6LP sold out and was very limited.

 

It’s not been reduced so they’re not interested in chart battles but maximising revenues.
