I’m sorry but the thread isn’t about that either but you still went out of your way to start something about it.

 

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the word parasite. Even in a name calling context, it’s hardly the worst word I could use, it’s used as a metaphor and it’s not been used towards any member. Thanks for dodging my question though.

Because it was completely unneeded. I made a comment and it didn’t have anything to do with you and then you decide to make a deal out of it. That is you starting something. People have used far worse words across this forum and have actively insulted other members but I don’t see you jumping in then. However, I do always see you leaping at any tiny comment from anyone about Ed Sheeran.

It’s a public forum of which I had already posted so don’t say ‘it’s nothing to do with you’. I made a big deal out of it because it’s an awful word to use about anyone and has conetations to 20th century history which aren’t very nice at all. I defend Ed Sheeran because 95% of the forum feel it’s fine to make personal comments and give their opinion about him. I’m not even an Ed Stan either and would point it out if it was aimed at whatever artist by a large amount of people.

 

But it’s fine, I’m over it now and if you want to continue to describe another human being as a parasite then go for it I won’t be happy about it but will ignore it but I won’t be told what I can and can’t be offended by on this forum.

It's Steve's prerogative to post that, in his opinion, the word "parasite" is overboard in terms of describing a popstar... as much as T Boy has the right to post what he thinks is an accurate description for Ed (one which personally I wouldn't consider to be awfully derogatory, but I respect that Steve does). Ultimately, neither of your posts was being personal towards each other... but it has now strayed into that territory with this discussion, and it's really not necessary.

 

If anyone perceives somebody to be "starting something", you don't have to continue it.

No need for the anti Ed stuff! If I dont like an artist I just ignore them, I don't spend half my life slagging them off on the internet. Some of the shit posted here is unbelievable!
