Would be crazy if both of the last finalists went out round 1. I really want Emma to win (even if just to justify the SPOTY win over Daley and Peaty, with the latter more deserving in my opinion)

Good to see Andy Murray come through that long match and some other British wins.

Nothing much happened today, forgot how boring week 1 can be at times

Tomorrow looks more interesting with Kyrgios-Medvedev, would really like an upset ;)

Good to see Murray and Evans safely though their first rounds - hopefully both can make it quite a bit further.

Raducanu also lost and deservedly so, played another horrible horrible game.

Surprised at Kotaveit and Muguruza gone so early but they haven't done much warm up for the AU Open.

Raducanu had blisters apparently and not like she lost in straight sets like Murray, unfortunate but there we go.

 

I still hold hope Kyrgios will win a Slam one day.

Shame for Emma but I think she did well to take it to a decider and win as many games as she did given the hand blister that was holding her back for most of the match. Well done to Danka Kovinic for making her first third round.
