January 31, 20223 yr Author I'm not going to lie - there are so many songs I actaully really, really love on this album! Maybe it's because it's the one album I saw live from her and have dedicated a lot of time to but yeah a lot of goodness (amongst the turds :tearsmile). A brilliant top 4 going through, but I'd have loved 5 and 6 to be through too :snif: In fact the top 15 i'd have been ok with lmao!

February 1, 20223 yr Wash All Over Me is the potentially the best song on the album so shame it didn’t make it (though not entirely surprising). At least nothing terrible got too many points.
February 2, 20223 yr Just catching up on the results and I'm surprised 'Amazing' made it through! I do like it but I've always found it a filler track whereas the other songs all earn their place on the album. Only just realised that I put 'Nothing Fails' in my rank for 'American Life'. :doh: Removing that and my personal Top 3 made it so I'm happy with that. Happy with the results for 'Ray of Light', 'Confessions', 'Hard Candy' (my exact Top 3 in the correct order). I'd have preferred 'Beautiful Killer' to take the third spot for 'MDNA' - I was kinda expecting 'Love Spent' to make it through and tbh I can't grumble too much, there is a good song there, it just suffers, like all of the album, from bad vocal editing and post-production/mixing. Listening back to 'Rebel Heart' and I've realised, despite some solid songs lyrically, it's a really plain album in terms of production. 'MDNA', for all it's faults, did have some decent production ideas. I'm happy with that Top 3/4 though.

February 3, 20223 yr Author I had Crazy above Faz Gostoso (which was 4th for me) so I am happy with the results overall. It seems like a very obvious top 3 I think, so no shocks!

I agree I couldn't get into this album, nothing apart from 'God Control' & maybe 'Medellin' really stood out for me & its the only album I haven't reviewed, as I just find it too difficult to get into.
February 4, 20223 yr I think it’s easily her best since Confessions. Yes the vocals are processed beyond all recognition (and she sounds like about 5 different singers across the album), but it’s got an energy that has been lacking from almost every other album since then.
