The first film I watched in the cinema this year was Top Gun: Maverick a week ago! I enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting to - especially as I hadn't seen the first one :lol:

I'm way more of a music person but I've been trying to get out to the cinema a bit more this year. Everything Everywhere All At Once blew everything else out of the water :wub: Top Gun: Maverick was then a distant 2nd (and I loved the novelty of my first double bill experience second time around), Austin Butler was great in Elvis, Crawdads then a distant fourth (this seems to have very topsy turvy critics vs. audience reception!) and Ticket to Paradise wasn't really my thing so definitely last, I mostly tagged along for escapism after a stressful day at work :lol:

 

I think I might go and see 'Emily' next as I love Emma Mackey in Sex Education and the reviews look pretty good so far.
