February 4Feb 4 Its the right move cutting at least 1 episode each from Corrie and Emmerdale, ideally i would have said drop 2 episodes from each as it will help improve the quality.
February 6Feb 6 God this is like the Bill atm  Literally, not an episode goes by without someone else being questioned in that police station
February 6Feb 6 I understand why they've integrated Kit and DS Swain into the show as main characters (and it's always nice to see new characters come to the forefront) but I agree with the above, they need to be careful or Corrie will start feeling like more of a crime drama than a soap!
February 24Feb 24 Looking forward to how the relationship between the new couple and Chesney/ Fizz works out..
Saturday at 09:195 days Watched this last night because my mate from my acting class was in the episode. The writing is so dire! My friend was the threatening inmate towards the end.
Saturday at 20:235 days It's a bit frustrating to watch at the moment because the bosses don't get what the fans actually want. Nobody wants Debbie Webster battling dementia, or the hospital and/or the police station featuring every episode while the inside of the Kabin hasn't been seen in over a year. It's annoying because the actors involved elevate it - Sue Devaney is an absolute gift to the world of soap and I know she'll ace every aspect of this storyline - but Corrie was never this miserable. It's not all bad - any scene with Bernie is a treat at the moment and she's really come into her own as one of the show's most essential characters, I'm enjoying Sally and Tim being given a new direction as foster parents, Lauren behind the bar is a great way of integrating her (and Glenda as bar manager is such a good choice but we need to see more!). Other stuff drags it down though - I'm struggling to care about anything involving Theo (and based on what we've seen so far it looks like there's another dark storyline coming as it feels like the early stages of domestic abuse), Sally Carman is way above the chemistry-free affair Abi's having with Carl, and there's a general lack of light-hearted conversations and comedy that Corrie's famous for.
Sunday at 17:004 days Im not a regular viewer but it does be on here in the house and i totally agree about Sue Devaney, she is nailing it in all the scenes i have seen and they are crazy to get rid of such a character as she is very much what people love about the show and if the bosses took any notice of fans they would know she is massively popular,Sally and Tim are great too and are a great couple and they just work brilliantly. I also like Bernie but lamping her with Dev is a huge mistake.I think getting rid of Jenny is also a massive mistake as again she is the type of character that makes Corrie and what people liked about the show.Outside of those mentioned no one else really sticks out in a good way.The kabin is a huge part of the show and people know its Corrie when they see it and they should have more scenes there rather than all the cop shop and cop office scenes, Corrie is not the Bill.
