On their 2014 debut, Zaba, the Oxford quartet aligned themselves with a storied lineage of abstract alt-rock—the moody atmospheres of Radiohead, the tropical textures of Animal Collective—but in Dave Bayley, Glass Animals possess an uncommonly smooth singer who could mould those left-field influences into sultry, R&B-flavoured pop songs. While the album made them indie darlings, it also earned the group admirers beyond the typical NME reader—the 2015 single “Lose Control” saw them team up with Brooklyn MC Joey Bada$$ for a trippy rap track. That sense of anything-goes openness fully flourished on 2016’s How to Be a Human Being, whose procession of freaky, funky anthems and synth-smeared slow jams earned Glass Animals their first Mercury Prize nomination. But after drummer Joe Seaward was nearly killed in a 2018 cycling accident, Glass Animals dialled down the eccentricity for 2020’s Dreamland, a more intimate record that further harmonized the art-rock/club-pop dialectic at the heart of their music. Speaking about the single “Your Love (Déjà Vu)” to Apple Music, Hayley said, “The idea was to take my favourite '90s producers like Timbaland and The Neptunes and the way they used samples, yet record a lot of those sounds in the way The Beatles or Beach Boys might’ve done it... and then taking Beatles and Beach Boys sounds and resampling them as [those producers] might’ve done.” That Dreamland cracked the Top 10 in both the UK and US is a testament to Glass Animals’ gift for melding different styles and eras into the sound of now. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2020 05 Heat Waves -1- MILLIONAIRE 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Social Media Glass Animals http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

February 25, 20224 yr Author 25 | 26 | 4th week George Ezra Anyone For You 1st single from Gold Rush Kid Released: 28th January 2022 Label: Sony Music Entertainment UK Chart Statistics NE (10/02/2022) | 32-30-26-25 Sales: 30k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 02 Sales 59 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video RkfvelOJvhI Biography George Ezra’s spirited folk-pop sing-alongs could have thrived in any era, but their mix of worldly curiosity, unbridled optimism and a few playful loops and synths reflects a truly millennial ideal. Born George Ezra Barnett in Hertfordshire, England in 1993, the singer/songwriter grew up seeking comfort in the wordplay of folk laureates like Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie and the raw, emotional resonance of blues masters like Lead Belly. He trained his voice to sound as bold and booming as the latter, and honed his writing chops while travelling—an activity he’d been fascinated with since falling in love with Paddington Bear as a kid. The fictional teddy would come to inspire Ezra’s 2014 debut album, Wanted on Voyage, a phrase found on Paddington’s suitcase. Singles “Budapest” and “Barcelona” burst with buoyant acoustic hooks while evoking the modest sensibility of Ed Sheeran. They also represent a clear sense of place, and Ezra’s eternal wanderlust, something he slips into each of his effervescent works—whether that’s finding “Paradise” in love or riding “Shotgun” to anywhere. That exuberant joie de vivre feels ever more evocative under the influence of his robust baritone, a soothing sonorousness that goes down like a finely aged wine. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2013 03 Budapest -1/3- MILLIONAIRE 2014 95 Leaving It Up To You -IG- 2014 06 Blame It On Me -4- MILLIONAIRE 2014 41 Listen To The Man -5- 2015 70 Cassy O' -2/6- 2017 66 Don't Matter Now -1- 2018 02 Paradise -2- MILLIONAIRE 2018 08 Hold My Girl -4- 2018 01 Shotgun -3- MILLIONAIRE 2018 25 Pretty Shining People -5- 2021 08 Come On Home For Christmas -NAS- 2022 25 Anyone For You -1- 1 x #1 | 3 x Top 5 | 6 x Top 10 | 6 x Top 20 | 8 x Top 40 | 12 x Top 100 Social Media George Ezra http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
