Interesting race for the album #1 then, Central Cee looking well on course to overtake but depends on if Tears For Fears have more physical sales yet to be added on so could still see it going either way. Good to see that we'll have a top 2 both over 20k anyway.

Rather more surprising to see Johnny Marr closing the gap on Avril Lavigne but this has been a strong showing for her whether she ends up #3 or #4 (probably safe to assume she won't be dropping further than that now).

'Peru' looking like it's on course to swerve ACR, so could yet snatch a week at #1 by default (yet another Ed #1 that wouldn't have got there in a world without ACR) if Dave doesn't do enough to prevent it next week  (though of course we also have another new Ed release featuring on the Camila track, not expecting that to be a #1 contender but wouldn't totally rule it out either, also very possible Lost Frequencies might be overtaking anyway)

wow at Johnny Marr, I actually thought this album was a collection of 4 EPs that had been already available separately, so I thought the hardcore Smiths fans would already have them...

yesterday I saw both the Tears for Fears and Johnny Marr albums in a record store and both have beautiful vinyls in a couple of gorgeous colour variants

tbh i'm shocked avril has managed 9k, to think most weeks she probably would have got a #1 :selena:
and I think Avril has like zero airplay and zero streaming playlist support
I'm enjoying the new Tears for Fears album, I think it's one of the better efforts from returning 'legacy' acts that I've heard in the past few years. A shame it looks like it will miss number one, especially since it has pretty decent sales, but you can't argue with that sales increase for Central Cee.
Another sale for Tears For Fears as I've just bought the CD! I've bought more CDs (2) this year than I have in the 3 years prior to this...
Hope tomorrow last week for Bruno
It should be as the track is likely to move to ACR from today.

Yeh hope lot song go acr this week need clear out in top 20

Should be a well overdue clear out this week

The following tracks should be/have a high change of going off to ACR next week I would imagine:

Encanto cast - We don’t talk about Bruno

Jessica Darrow - Surface Pressure

Adele - Oh My God

D-Block Europe feat. Central Cee - Overseas

There’s a few others that I think have increased and probably dodged it:

Fireboy DML & Ed Sheeran - Peru

Tiesto & Ava Max - The Motto

Lost Frequencies & Callum Scott - Where are you now

Sam Fender - Seventeen Going Under

Encanto cast - The Family Madrigal (I’m pretty certain this is on DCL-1 as of now and will be off to ACR the week after Bruno and Surface Pressure).
