She had an issue a year or two ago whereby she was accused of racism and had a lot of hate online. Since then her sales have dwindled massively. Cancel Camila was trending online etc.

It was found out she used the N-word a lot before she became famous. :lol: Although I think it would be unfair to cancel her. Other artists have done worse things like shooting people or sexually assaulting people and not been cancelled.

I think she was very much on he decline before all that came to light anyway.

Plus she was 14 at the time of the alleged racism, people say and do stupid sh!t when they're young, she apologised for those tweets so people should move on. This whole cancel culture really annoys me, have people still not learnt from the whole Caroline Flack tragedy? Anyway all that aside, I don't think anyone is talking about cancelling her anymore, the reason for her decline in sales is probably the decline in quality of music.

Guess in some genres (pop) it is easier to get cancelled than others (hip hop).

A good point. How the likes of 6ix9ine and XXXTentacion haven't been outright cancelled and banished to history is beyond me.

Camila redeemed herself in my eyes by actually taking responsibility and attending classes after the incident. The damage has obviously been done but it shows that ex girl group members can act on criticism and use it to become a better person....unlike some. :lol:

Camila's career has been on a downward trajectory for a long time, Senorita being the only anomaly. Now she's been exposed as being racist trash I don't feel any sympathy for her.

I don’t get the cancel culture either, with social media so many people have an opinion on everything. People have to realise human beings make mistakes and get over it. As long as people learn from it!

I mean 6ix9ine basically is completely irrelevant now, his other singles beyond 'TROLLZ' have all tanked as did his album. Very hard to imagine him being able to make a comeback as he completely alienated the fanbase he did inexplicably have.

She was 15/16. How many people are absolute c**ts at that age? What she did was disgusting but she's quite clearly not that person as an adult. I don't understand people who think that adults should permanently live with consequences from decisions they made as a teenager.
