Has he not noticed that the quality of the show sky rocketed once he left. He even made Janine almost boring. The storylines were shot for years because they were always trying prop Mick/Danny up as some sort of legendary character when he was absolutely crap. Does anyone even miss him from the show? I don’t think so. He was what was holding the show back for years and now he’s gone it’s like it can breathe again.

 

Given that Cindy’s return has solidified the idea that no body=not dead, I hate that his ending was so open ended. He should never ever return.

How though, I wonder are the returnees Chris has mentioned actually them or is it rumours as I really don't see how they could bring them back.

I sincerely doubt they would run two "back from the dead" stories within a year of each other, besides we actually saw the bodies with R&R. One of the show's many stupid short sighted past decisions for sure, but there's a lot less wriggle room to retcon there than with Kathy or Cindy where the entire supposed sequence of events took place off screen.

 

I'd like to think Cindy Jr would be one of the returning characters to tie in with the current storyline and whole 'rebuilding the Beales'. Not sure off the top of my head who else i'd be bothered about. Little Mo would make a lot of sense and Jac Jossa has done two guest returns now so I guess Lauren would be a safe bet to guess at, so maybe it's those two.

I agree off screen deaths hive a lot of wiggle room which there isn't any with ronnie and roxy. I'd love to see Little Mo back but I think it will be Shurley Dean and Lauren, If Lauren comes back I'd like max aswell.

Ya another mistake killing her off as she was a character that had so much more to give.

I don't mind the character returning but not one I'd be hugely excited about either but I wont complain as the show is just great right now and I love how so many families are been built back up and all getting storylines.

Shame Janine didn't return under Chris's tenure as it would have been far more epic.

One of the best episodes in recent memory. That final 5 minute sequence had me GASPING. I'm so shook. The entire cast smashed it especially Bobby!

Yes what a powerful, gripping week this has already turned out to be so far. I was floored by today’s ending and really appreciated the parallel between Freddie hitting Theo with the iron and his mother doing the same to Trevor. An exit of some capacity for Bobby Brazier right now would make sense with his current stint on Strictly. Can’t wait to see how the rest of the week plays out!

 

Can only echo the praise for the acting this week. The actor who plays Theo is a convincing villain too.

I echo what others have said, fantastic episode and everyone was just on top form involved in the episode.

I honestly can't get over how brilliant the show is right now. Long may it continue.

Agreed. He doesn't play it as a panto villain, and it makes his character so much more horrifying to watch.

Agreed this episode was amazing. The Theo story has hit so much better since the truth was revealed, I had been finding it ridiculous read Stacey hadn’t found him creepy earlier.

Booby is a terrible actor. :lol: His character is better than ben's though, so axe Ben first!
