JADE THIRLWALL is having a bumper 2025 so far.

 

Fresh from getting two Brit nominations and being announced as a performer, I can reveal she has another gig around the corner.

 

The former Little Mix singer will perform at London’s V&A Museum next week. She has been lined up as a guest at the unveiling of two Andy Warhol paintings there.

 

Her solo shows are known for their artistic vision so I can’t wait to see what she’s got planned.

 

Voting is now open in the five public Brit Awards categories, including Best Pop, where Jade is nominated, along with Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act and R&B Act.

10 tracks have leaked (With heading ‘F YOU RCA for shelving this album’ rumours are RCA has scrapped the album.

 

Even worse 10 full tracks have leaked in mixed final quality including FUFN.

 

Absolutely gutted for her.

WHAT?! I'd be so shocked if they shelved the album. Maybe the original one?

Apparently this is a draft version of the tracklist from Q2 of 2024 according to an insider.

I swear to God! If they don’t release the album…. (I won’t listen until I know for a fact it’s not coming etc..)

 

Idk if I believe the rumours that RCA have shelved it tho… they’ve been fairly active promoting her recently on their socials…

I really don’t believe it’s been shelved though, i just hope it leaking doesn’t change things? Her team need to speed things up and get this announced/released asap.

 

I don’t think it’ll affect things unless her team decides not to release what has leaked (which i also can’t see happening…. idk)

Poor Jade. :( to have put in all that effort for some t**t to just leak it, I really hope it doesn’t affect the plan. Also can’t imagine RCA would scrap the album when all the released songs have been well received???

I feel like an album from Jade is more likely than any of the other members although I think if she gets a second track to perform the same way as AOMD did an album would feel more likely. She’s got a lot of goodwill and decent enough material but she does need a second hit(which I think she can get).

Okay so the good news is those who have heard it are raving about it. Bad news is I hope the fan reactions don’t influence Jade and RCA too much and they stick to the plan. If anything I hope this reassures RCA to get the album out asap.

I actually don't think she necessarily needs a 2nd hit. It's definitely not *quite* as important for her to get one as it is for either Perrie or Leigh need to get one imo. I think she'll get another hit too, but I don't think it's quite as important for her. She's pretty much a critic darling right now and has mustered up a fairly loyal and dedicated fanbase as a soloist. I'd say she's pretty much Charli pre-Brat level atm. (Hoping all of this makes sense coz I'm so tired rn lmaoooo)

Shame this happened, she seemed very sure of how she wanted the rollout to go. Tinfoil hat on, I wonder if the label tried to shelve most of it asking for more "hits" so she's leaked it herself. She wouldn't have been the first artist to do so.

 

Also, labels need to be less scared of leaks, if anything it proves there's interest in the album. They should hurry and rush release it on streaming services (at least) after the BRITs.

A very reliable insider said this about the songs likely to still be on the album despite leaking:

 

 

- Headache: Not part of the current album tracklist, B-side

 

- Dreamcheater: Not part of the current tracklist, B-side

 

- Silent Disco: Part of the current album tracklist. This was supposed to come as a promo track after AOMD, but it was replaced for Midnight Cowboy when they shot the IT Girl and Midnight Cowboy visualizer.

 

- Natural Disaster: Not part of the current tracklist, it was never considered for the album (For Jesy)

 

- Plastic Box: Part of the current album tracklist.

 

 

This is all I have for now, apparently, her team is aware that at least 10 more tracks are floating around / being distributed.

 

the main issue right now is the final tracklist, RCA wants a version of the album and JADE wants another one, but Natural Disaster is one of Jade's favorite songs.

The leak is an early version that JADE submitted to RCA. It's not the final tracklist. Some of these will end up on the album and most have been reworked/finalised. The timeline should hopefully remain the same, FUFN within the next two weeks and album in April.

 

JADE and her team (management) are furious about this leak! Not sure what this will all lead to, but this shouldn't have happened at this point.

 

RCA wanted to push the album back and re-evaluate, but the Brits nominations and performance have put everything back into place and played into JADE's card, who's adamant about releasing SOON. Let's just say something is fishy about this leak because it does give RCA a proper point in saying they don't want to put anything out that's been leaked before.

I just hope they stick to the plan and fufn release soon + album april and the most important thing is that everything goes out the way jade wants it to be hopefully 🙏

An April release would fit nicely with a pre-order being up around the BRITs. Don’t mess this up RCA!

From what I'm seeing online there is a huge discourse about what is going on.

 

Some are saying this is a version of the album Jade has submitted - I believe she has discussed a lot of these tracks in interviews already. I'm curious how these have leaked.

 

Some are saying RCA have scrapped the album - which makes zero sense as she's got the biggest performance slot of her career in 2 weeks and if there was not a pre-order ready for then, her team would be mad.

 

In reality, the leak won't have any long term effect on her - if her fans can't stream her songs enough to get her top 40, their not going to go looking online for links to songs. I just hope this does not deflate her and it's part of some strategy as being the ultimate pop diva she is - leaked music behind a thing that happened to artists like Charli XCX, Madison Tate & Lana Del Rey.

I don’t want to be negative but I genuinely think RCA have paused the album.

 

Jordan saying she’s not finished the album solidifies this as they have to send the album for pressing way more than a month in advance so I doubt an April release is likely?

 

I really hope I’m wrong but it’s not looking good and I have no idea what RCA are doing!! Jade has a great fanbase and there’s clearly is massive support for her.

 

If the album wasn’t going to light up the streaming charts they could have easily given the album a hardcore all out effort including personally signed formats, small tour with ticket bundles (banquet etc) HMV signings and multi-formats to cement some hype and move onto her 2nd album.

 

It makes no logical sense and she’s at risk of losing support if the albums still nowhere near, it’s crazy to me that they aren’t capitalising on The Brits performance (But I guess this was last minute if the charli rumours are true?!)

 

Don’t understand what’s going on with FUFN either! The fanbase knows the title yet they continue to tease the new single like we have no idea what it is?

 

I’m gutted for Jade from the outside she deserves better BUT there is a chance Jade isn’t happy and it’s a decision she has made but it’s screams RCA have panicked after Fantasy / IT girl.

I hope Jordan is just saying that because it’s better (?) than saying Jade knows about the leaks as that would probably make the situation bigger than it needs to be.

 

If it actually isn’t finished then i can’t see it being released anytime soon especially if there’s label troubles regarding different versions
