JADE revealed after the album she will release 3 collabs (unrelated to this album). A collab with a US artist, a UK artist and a K-pop artist.

I will forever be baffled that she had a hyped, well-received Brit Awards performance — and won — with no album to buy, preorder, or even exist immediately afterwards.

Just watching this interview! Her management are brilliant getting her such big US radio promo.

Back to number 1 on iTunes album pre-orders!!

Wasn’t expecting that guess it’s the hype of plastic box!!

Why oh why such a competitive week, can see this charting lower than it deserves with really good sales

Omg. They really should’ve given us a start/middle of the Summer album release. I still don’t understand why they chose THAT week in September in particular.

Plastic Box doing it’s job and selling the album! 😍

The number of albums coming out on the 12th is crazy!

Callum Scott is releasing now (Obviously Won’t be setting charts the alight but still…)

If she can get a number 2 album behind Ed I’ll be absolutely made up but I can’t see her outselling Sabrina’s second week.

The amount of weeks with low releases as well crazy

Would be sabrinas 3rd week that week tbf

I really honestly feel like she can achieve a #2 debut with this off the back of her physical sales and the multi formats. I can imagine her going quite hard on the promo for week 1 too. It’s absolutely typical that Ed is releasing the same week but what can we do there.

I think an act like JADE the support will be there more with a complete body of work like the album than it would be with singles though and she does have a dedicated fanbase and a lot of goodwill.

I was looking what Addison sold last week and I think JADE may shift more physical sales than her but obviously streaming might not be as high!

Apple Music:

#28 United Kingdom

Will these streams for the album count on release week or..? unsure

They won’t no but it shows that people are interested and it should have alright streaming on release week.

It’s appearing because people are listening to all the other tracks so on Apple it enters the chart.

Capital's Summertime Ball is being shown on TV tomorrow I wonder if they'll do her dirty and not show her performance? I'm assuming they'll show one performance for each act? Hopefully again it generates a few sales from the casual random TV viewer 😄

They will probably only air the Little Mix medley. 🥲

Imagine!! I'm assuming they'll show FUFN over AOMD but who knows!

This "beef" between her and Capital is so pointless. In real life she doesn't need them and they don't need her.

Huh? She definitely needs them! She's getting rubbish Spotify support and aside from AOMD a year ago she's only dented the top 40 for one week - and that was probably just because of the Brits hype at the time.

The interviewers absolutely set her up with that ridiculous question though and it's so unfair they're snubbing her because of how she responded. How was she supposed to answer?!

Capital showed the FUFN performance on ITV Will Smiths performances open the show first and then Jade was second they hyped her up a bit.

They only showed FUFN not AOMD though :/

Any TV promo is good at this point should help the album.

I just read Pitchfork's Sunday review of Spice Girls' Spice where they address that it was pretty crucial that the album was ready before they launched with Wannabe so that they could focus on making the group known immediately. I think that approach would've worked the best for Jade's debut solo era too: finish the album and launch with a bang with the existing LM fanbase. AOMD first with the album pre-order announcement and the album out after two months with the second focus track.

Timing-wise:
AOMD late 2024

Album announcement in January 2025

The album out in March 2025
