March 14, 20224 yr Im hoping Ella will be Top 5 in todays mids and then at least stay top 10 on Friday, the signing will help as will the gig so hopefully its enough to get a fairly decent debut.
March 14, 20224 yr It would be: “She sold 46,000 albums last time and now this!! She’ll be working on the Toby Carvery sliced beef and gammon counter before Xmas” :cheeseblock: :cheeseblock: Poor Ella and poor ha no.1 fan with stalker energy :(
March 14, 20224 yr Eek, 7 is lower than Rita Ora in the fiest midweeks flashes. 15, 16 by week'a end??
March 14, 20224 yr I wouldn’t be surprised if Thomas Headon’s EP is ruled out by the end of the week unfortunately, as it’s only 5 tracks/16:17 long! I think you’d like his stuff Joseph ;)
March 14, 20224 yr I wouldn’t be surprised if Thomas Headon’s EP is ruled out by the end of the week unfortunately, as it’s only 5 tracks/16:17 long! I think you’d like his stuff Joseph ;) He's already vaguely on my radar!! I charted one of his songs in 2020 (Loving You) and have heard one or two songs from the new EP, I'll endeavour to check out the whole thing!
March 14, 20224 yr Not sure if number 7 is enough for Ella to stay top 10 but the signings may sway it for her, im surprised Bryan Adams isnt top 2 as i thought he would take the number 1 easily enough, hopefully we will get a sales update later,
March 14, 20224 yr Shocked that Rex is leading the way on albums, I thought Bryan Adams would have an easy shot at the top spot. Also poor Ella :drama: hopefully the price cut, signings and live show tonight has an impact.
March 14, 20224 yr Surprised Rex is that far ahead. For some reason I thought Bryan Adams would be the main contender for #1 but on further investigation it turns out he hasn't had a #1 album since 1996 (!!) which I'm really surprised by.
March 14, 20224 yr Poor Ella :( hopefully it can just about sneak Top 5 but that is really disappointing.
March 14, 20224 yr Really rooting for Ella, hopefully it is at least Top 10, although i'd love a Top 5! Hoping Aitch stays at Number 2 and Sheeran doesn't overtake.
March 14, 20224 yr Eek, 7 is lower than Rita Ora in the fiest midweeks flashes. 15, 16 by week'a end?? I think the difference between now and when Rita released is that people these days can rush out signed copies or new formats (which Ella seems to be doing), plus the albums around her aren't likely to hold up unlike when Rita released near Christmas and got totally swallowed up by established heavyweights in the chart. I'm confident she can retain a similar position for Friday.
March 14, 20224 yr I think Ella’s team missed a trick in not pushing other formats, there is no vinyl release at all, and they haven’t added any other signing events to those already planned. She’s just put a promo on her insta and seems really happy with the #7. I guess putting it in context a couple of years ago she was without a contract only doing some side work with Rudimental…. I really hope she gets top 10.
